On 16th May 2023, we did our Mata vaishno Devi Yatra and we did it with our 1 year toddler. initially we thought of getting a helicopter and we hunt for it but we couldn't get the reservationa and hence decided to do the entire yatra barefoot. We took a stroller for our kid on rent and pushed it all the way to Ardhkuvanri (Steapest part of climb is from ban ganga to ardhakuvari only). Once we reached Ardhakuvanri, we knew that it can't be completed without taking help from someone who can push the stroller. Fortunately, we got the paid help and reached to Bhavan for our darshan.
The amazing part was, unknowingly we did the entire yatra without drinking water and having food. infact, our 1 year old kid also resisted to have water while climbing up and once we took the Mata Vaishnodevi's Darshan and offered our prayers, our kid started drinking the water. i.e. unknowingly we and our kid did the entire yatra staying "Nirjal".
