I kinda wish Kristen would quit denying she didn’t like Taylor bc it’s so obvious she didn’t. It would be awesome to get Taylor on and hear her perspective. And I’m not buying the whole Lauren was only mocking the who would you rather game. I believe it was a genuine mean girl moment of hers. I always loved that Stephen straight up refused to play 😊
Thank you! The episode that Lauren came on Kristin did the same thing saying she and Lauren never actually had any problem with one another. I was glad when Lauren corrected her and admitted they DID have their drama but eventually got over it. They downplay so much

Hi Stephen, just to jog your memory a little re when you came to Kristin's window to ask her to prom. You sent her an anonymous text message one school night asking her to go to her window. She did and you were outside and there were tons of lit candles spelling "PROM?"
I’m class of 02’ obviously close in age to the cast, this show granted it was only technically three seasons but I’m astonished at how much popularity there is for seasons 1 and 2. I am curious about the numbers that crossed over from Laguna Beach to The Hills.
I love your podcasts but I do wish you guys would sit and watch the episodes with us like whit and Timmy do especially since you guys were actually on Laguna Beach. I just think it would be pretty cool 🙂
I enjoy this podcast way too much. Fun stuff. Props to Stephen for upping his communication skills game in a big, big way. There was a bit of a mumbling situation on Laguna but he's really grown into a dude that's quite eloquent, reflective, funny, and articulate. Good work! 👍

Back in 2004 my girlfriends at the time used to make me watch Laguna Beach with her.. fast forward to covid lockdowns few years back I ended up streaming the first 2 seasons on my own.. aaaaand now I'm here lol.
Also a suggestion, show snippets of scenes you guys are talking about so we can also see you guys reaction on seeing those clips while talking about it
I enjoy listening to this series, but there are moments where both Stephen and Kristin are just full of shit. 😂 Kristin, please stop downplaying your obvious dislike for someone. They weren’t little “bitchy moments” you clearly didn’t like Lauren, Casey, or Taylor and it’s fine to admit that! And Stephen for the love of God, you love to go on long winded tangents defending Lauren and denying moments you guys clearly hooked up. “I believed Lauren acted that way because….” “ Lauren only said that because…” “Lauren wasn’t trying to…” Just stop
She hated Lauren because Stephen liked and dated Lauren first. She hated Taylor because Talan liked and datedTaylor first and she hated Casey because Casey dated Sam first. Funny how Kristin hated Casey for looking like a Barbie doll when Kristin had tons of Barbie dolls when she was younger, lol

I think she says she wasn't nice at times, and she also admitted she would've never hung out with those people, so I think that implies they weren't in her friends group without MTV's control. On the Steph-EN front, if he doesn't admit he hooked up with LC in SF, I'm gonna scream. I mean we all SAW that ending, and they went there together, and when they drink, things seem to happen. I mean no one will go there. As for LC, she was super clingy and unapologetic about it, so why can't she be called out for that behavior is my question? That's right or even fair to Kristin especially after they made that pact? I still don't get why that is glossed over because to me that was pretty big of a move to go off with LC.
I really wonder.. being this is something I just found and first time listening too so I know no backstory to this podcast so I have to save with Kav single now and idk stephens status but these guys had to have hooked up after all the years! Last season theg admitted to kissing affer her divorce. I can`t remember if it was an episode or one of the truth or drinks. But Stephen is dating someone else now.
I could have sworn that the room number he is talking about in Mexico was the same room in season 1 when Steven and Kristen shared a room after prom or winter formal I don't remember but it was the same exact clip so they just use it in season 2 if someone could correct me or confirm that'll be great
