I’m from America and I’m watching this video because I plan to visit Ghana soon. I have some family and some friends from there. I’m kinda looking at these woman and telling myself that they need to humble themselves more. Humbleness is a great quality to have as a person. See you when I get there 😄
First, this isn’t the Sonia we all fell in love with. She’s lean more towards money. Second, the second guy really made the brotherhood proud…he’s got character, very humble and so composed….even with the roasting and all that, he just kept mute answering their questions. Nah guys, there's a real topic that needs to be addressed. Why do most Ghanaian women/girls feel like they are entitled to some sort of monetary compensation when they are in a relationship with a guy. Do they realise that these guys also strive hard and sweat to make the money they do make. This stereotypical mindset is totally unfair to the guys. I understand that one can expect her partner to give her presents and gifts but they should all know that it's not a must. In one of these episodes, i kinda remember a girl asking a guy how much allowance could he give her if they were in a relationship. The fact that she was able to ask that question in the first place even disgusts me, and i don't even fully blame her because most girls (and some guys) would argue that it's a valid question. Asking for some sort of allowance or t and t from your man is totally not negotiable in my opinion. Let's say you ask your man for monthly allowances and he agrees and provides it, what do you honestly think will be on his mind. He will think that he has power over you because you've now become some sort of investment or property that belongs to him, and what do people do with their property? They do with it what they please. Under no circumstance do I condone violence against women, but these women asking for allowances and stuff should know that, their man, after making these provisions will think he has power over them (because hard earned money is no joke) and this may lead to a whole lot of non tolerable situations. Girls with such mindsets should definitely change and find some way to make an income for themselves and not resort to asking money from guys they date. I honestly thought such ways of thinking was like in the 19th/20th century. The world is evolving, make sure to not be left behind.
