I remember watching this episode on MTV with my best friend, and I cried my eyes out. This was our senior year as well, so I knew I was going to have to say goodbye to most of my friends. Still makes me tear up. I'm going to miss y'all so much. I don't want it to be over. Love you guys always ❤

I can’t remember any “reality tv series” that made me happy and had left such an impact in my youth than Laguna Beach. ❤ When I want to go back to those times and reminisce, this is one of the shows I always go back to. Kristin arrived at LB high school last. Jessica and Alex H were there already. Kristin's dad transferred her after she took drivers ed there. Kristin became friends with Alex M first then Jessica and Alex H.

Watched the first 2 seasons as a teenager but never saw season 3. Just went and rewatched seasons 1 and 2 on paramount plus for the first time since I was a kid ( yes I know I'm a year or 2 late here 😂 ) and was like... whatttt there's a season 3? I watched the first episode and was like yeahhhh definitely didn't watch this season lol. And still haven't seen it
NOOOOOOO!!!! 😢 We selfishly are not ready for it to end. It feels like 2005 all over again, waiting on the DVD release so we can relive it over and over. Y’all have brought such a brightness to our weeks/months/and years, and have given us so much to look forward to. I can’t wait for the last episode! It’s a bummer it’s ending but I really enjoyed all of this. I told my wife at the beginning of season 1 that you guys were doing this and we saw both seasons were on Netflix so we rewatched them. It was hilarious because we ate up all the drama all over again now in our early 30’s and I think even more so than we did when we were in our teenage years 😂 such a blast rewatching the series!

Steven is so defensive lol I kinda wished SOME of the emotions w Lauren was real but he made sure to clarify 😆 I enjoyed the run through! Hopefully you go into Kristen's season of the hills! 🤭 Him as the viewer/interviewer & her as the subject/insider
The last episode hit me in my feelings for sure. The closing song "Farewell" I think that's the name was a perfect choice by MTV. I love that Wes Hutchinson song and Pretty Girl which played during a scene with Alex and Jason.
They really didn’t set up season 3 aside from us seeing Cami and Kyndra in the prom episode. But you know…them and the Newport harbor kids are for the birds honestly. Couldn’t compare to you guys. Side note: MTV definitely gave the crew a proper send off. I’ve rewatched it a few times and the montage was amazing. We’ll miss listening to you Steven and Kristin.
Thank you, Kristin, and Stephen, for creating this podcast. I am in the same class as Kristin 05 and remember when I was in high school and the first couple year of college, we compared our lives to laguna beach. A lot of the drama at my high school was like the show. I like Kristin pointed out how to stay in the moment. It is the biggest lesson I learned growing up, life goes by quickly and I wished I enjoyed being a teenager more. Thank you for taking us back memory lane, I am visiting my hometown right now and going to catch up with one of my high school best friends. It is nice to see you and Stephen maintain a friendship and I hope we continue to see your friendship with each other in the future. Your friendship is special, laguna beach is special, and although you both went through a lot, this show overall is special and no reality tv show can mimic laguna beach. :-)

This podcast was pretty fantastic. Thanks for doing this guys. You've both grown in great ways. Kinda bummed this is gonna be over. Graduated the same year as Stephen...definitely didn't handle the rapid changes all that well. Definitely missed old friends in a big, big way. But you're right...Laguna did make me feel less alone. And felt like a reflection of life I needed to see at the time for whatever reason. Glad you guys are well, and still looking sharp. Thanks to the commenters as well. Was fun and eye opening reading every week. 💖
I have really loved watching/listening to this podcast! Both of them are really lovely and humble towards other castmembers and have a good sense of self-awareness and close to laughter. You can also tell that Stephen is working in the industry and that makes it so much more profesionally when talking about how MTV was producing the show. It makes it so much more entertaining than other rewatch podcasts. I hope they continue in some way because it has been really nice listening to this podcast!
I really think you guys should watch the hills next. I know you are not really on it but you guys could talk about the storylines and have guests from the show on the pod. You do such a good job of breaking everything down! Please go on!❤️

I love the last episode because I graduated in 2005 too so it definitely hit home for me because honestly.. who wasn't crying when we all went our separate ways?! I think that's why LB was/is one of my favorites.. it's so nostalgic and brings me back to an easier time. Who knew adulting would be so.... adulty?!
