Pad Thai is such a popular Thai dish among Thais and non- Thais. It has such a complexity in the flavors , textures.
It represents the art of Thai blending flavors cuisine really well. The blend of multiple layers of flavors and textures of all ingredients will really awaken your taste buds in the best way possible!!
I hope you will not get discouraged from cooking at home after see the ingredient lists, you will get better with practices.
It’s so worth it!!
Ingradients
Pad Thai Sauce:
1 1/2 Tbsp cooking oil
1/2 cup small cut shallot
2 mince garlic cloves
2/3 cup and 2 1/2 Tbsp palm sugar
1/3 cup tamarind juice
1/3 cup fish sauce
Use 1/3 cup of the sauce for each batch.
Leftover sauce can last a month in the fridge, keep for later use . It will safe time for the next cooking.
Stir Fried Ingredients
2 1/2 Tbsp cooking oil ( spreading out the usage throughout the cooking)
7 medium shrimps
3/4 cup small pieces tofu
1 Tbsp small pieces sweet radish
1 Tbsp dried shrimps
1 1/2 cup rice noodles
1/2 - 2/3 cup water to cook noodles
1/3 cup Pad Thai sauce
3 Tbsp grounded roasted peanut
1 egg
1 cup bean sprouts
1/2 cup garlic chive leaves
Serving with fresh bean sprouts, garlic chive sticks, lime wedge, chili flakes
