A Northern Maine winter adventure sampler, including Nordic skiing at Penobscot River Trails in Grindstone and snowmobiling and fat-tire biking at Twin Pines Cabins and the New England Outdoor Center in Millinocket. Capping things off is an epic snowshoeing trek into Baxter State Park and the remote and rustic cabins on Daicey Pond! All of it takes place in the shadow of Mount Katahdin-Maine's tallest mountain.

Guide Ken Gross has such a calm demeanor about him and his voice. Just so relaxed, no stress, no rush, take it all in and let it settle inside your body, mind and soul. This was a great video.

Ken Gross and I worked together 30 yrs ago as cartographers in NJ. We met up again when I worked for the feds in VA. Happy to see he's still one of the coolest guys I know - found his bliss
