He’s Conservative as are we and like he says, diversify don’t get caught missing out on your minions. Besides that more reach more opportunities. Love your show. Well, I'm not sure what to tell you. People complained about me not being out in front of the camera on the 1st Shanty Boat Beagle Adventure. Most people like seeing the host of the channel. No one can satisfy everyone, and it's stressful to try. If you don't like our style, that's okay and I recommend you find folks that you do enjoy. There's a lot to watch on RU-vid. @backwatersandbackroads I was planning although I'm several years out to do the loop I had found a small yacht to fix up but scratching that although different somewhat I'm building a shanty boat that's more my style anyway

Howdy. We got to do all those things. The Shiloh tour was absolutely heart breaking. I couldn't bring myself to film any of it. The absolute pointlessness of war. And fellow countrymen! The carnage. Unfortunately ita probably going to happen again. Don and I had catfish at that restaurant on the river near there. It was pretty good ;)

Wild guess, barring any unforseen events from here: we might spend 8-9k to do the loop over 8 months. That's food and fuel and odds ans ends. I don't count the handful of bills to keep the home fires burning they'd be there regardless

Hi Linda, I've never once had anyone ask me about insurance. I do know that if you plan on staying in a permanent slip by the month or year, some places will ask for it. In Florida for sure. Not so much in Tennessee and Kentucky. I'm pretty sure there are policies that cover home built boats, there is for campers and school bus conversions. If you need any advice on your Shanty build, feel free to email me. I put my email in the descriptions of my videos.

@@backwatersandbackroads thank you, I was watching another channel who was talking about the problem he encountered of being turned away from marinas for lack of insurance. Got me curious if you had run into that at all on your journey.
