I got emotional too remembering how far Blimey has come now. Subcribed to Blimey when I was 17. One of the very first Blimey's video I watched is the one where Blimeys eat variety type of Malaysian ice-cream. It's just sooo touching and wow. I was only 17 back then and now I'm 21. Time surely fly. It feels like I'm growing up watching you guys enjoying stuffs here in Malaysia. I'm so sorry for the bad un-constructive comments. You guys are always welcome here in Malaysia. It's kinda sad that I wasn't able to met you guys during your visit this March. I really hope I can meet you guys in real life but I'm living at the east Malaysia. I'm looking forward to meet you guys in the future! Dear Blimey whenever you saw any bad comments please do ignore them because we (blimers) appreciate your efforts in making video about Malaysia. Your videos entertained us a lot especially during this pandemic. I couldn't write down everything I have in my mind but I am so grateful that u guys choose Malaysia as ur 2nd home. RM34 is more than enough to shop at Pasar Malam, no need to panic😁...also looks like Pasar Malam in Langkawi is cheaper than in KL, nice to see blimeys enjoy our local food, bagus👍

This is what I thought when I first come to Korea, 10,000 won is around RM30+ which I can get only one meal, and I suddenly remember how I can enjoy a lot of food in Malaysia with RM30+. This is a good approach for traveller who want to travel in Malasyia by comparing the currency and what we get with that amount of money! Thanks Blimey!

My suggestion to blimey, when you guys hanging around Malaysian.. it would be better if you guys introduce yourself as Korean. Because when you guys talk in Malay language at first.. they thought you guys can speak Malay well.. it is enough by saying words in basic English as replace for unknown word in Malay.. i could say most Malaysian can speak basic English.. since Malaysia is multiracial country we cannot differentiate asian people whether you guys foreigner or local 😅

I remember my trip to a friend's house in Kedah, her mom gave us RM20 to pay for breakfast for 4 people and I thought that wasn't enough (we got loads of different dishes on each plate), so I took my purse along and was ready to use my own money. It only costed like RM15-ish, I was so baffled and worried if there was any miscalculation but my friend told me that was the normal price. Kedah has like the cheapest food I'm so in love omg..

Oh darlings... they thought you all were Malaysian Chinese. They tried to tell you the price in mandarin and wasn't surprised you can speak malay 😆

i live at kuah, the nigh market sure is lively but not as lively as before covid. Some stall also reduce their menu. But of course some still keep their price cheap. Like rm1 nasi lemak. Her nasi lemak is considered the most cheap nasi lemak i ever find in langkawi. Because most of nasi lemak is sold at 1.50. And still her nasi lemak still tasty. And Ayam goreng rm1 and rm 2 with reasonable size and yet still cheap. You can spend as little as possible in night market and has many food. And yet you still can spend as much as possible with fews food at night market. There are still so many tasty food with reasonable and cheap price that most foreigner doesnt know. Like a tomyam that cost rm 6 is tasty than rm 30 tomyam from really well know tourist restaurant. And delicous fish curry just beside the sea. Maybe a cheap yet still tasty rm 10 siakap set that have rice, egg and whole fish the size longer than your palm. Sometimes i kinda feel sad for these restaurant. Although their business is good but comparing to tourist restaurant not so much people know about them. But still they sell at cheap and reasonable price to local. They deserve to get more people to know them. If you still in langkawi i strongly recommend you to try to eat at local restaurant and try how local enjoy their food. Of course some tourist restaurant also is tasty and local eat to. But most of local usually didnt eat at tourist restaurant. Maybe sometimes they go to try and have fun. But for daily eat they usually dont go. Like going eat laksa near airport beach. No stall there sell delicous laksa. But people go there to enjoy the view even for local. But their laksa is just not tasty at all.

4 people can eat till you drop...... Yup ,compare to the Korean Street food prices that I have seen before .... ..... Malaysia is a food paradise.... Welcome back!! Walking around and buying food.... Reminds a lot of those korean " Battle Trips" ,travelling overseas and experience different cultures..

this kind of feeling happen to me. plan wat to do the whole day when i was in seoul, everyhing went wrong. hurt my feet. not in a good mood when i arrive back to my lodging. the girls who lives there told me its okay, maybe because tomorrow is going to be a big day for u. it did. i met my ultimate bias gym trainer, boxing trainer... his best friend... n bet my bias by the end of the day. T.T never forget till i die

Rm34 turned out great after all because you girls pooled that sum to buy shared food items, good job! 👍 If you had distributed the sum equally among the 4 of you to buy food items individually, that would've meant a ration of about rm8 each. Let's say the pasar malam didn't have the cute rm1 nasi lemak (which we call nasi lemak bungkus by the way) but instead they sell loose nasi lemak and you choose whether to have nasi lemak kosong (basic nasi lemak with only sambal, hard boiled egg, peanuts, and maybe cucumber and anchovies) or one with chicken or meat etc, then that would be around rm5. One small drink like iced bandung is rm1. One set of 3pc fried banana fritters is rm1. And one small apam balik is also rm1. Those would sum up to rm8

I was like "Owh no, no place to change money?" And then u said all u had is RM34 to pasar malam for 4.. U can get a lot lah 4 sure.. Hahahaha. Dan selamat kembali ke Malaysia. Ini kan rumah kita.

I think need to clarify... Not all pasar malam is that cheap😂if u in KL the price is double. Even Ramadan pasar in KL u rarely see RM1 satay already.

In Langkawi different day, different place of pasar malam, i not a langkawian but i life in same state *Kedah* so i go there so many time. Every 2 Years i go there, like 2017,2019

The trick for locals when we are running out of money is to ask the sellers if we can transfer the amount online to them. 90% of the time we can as most people have online banking. If you have a working visa in Malaysia, I think u can qualify to open a bank account here. Just call the nearest banks to know if there is such an option for foreigners in Malaysia. So much easier when u have online banking apps on your phone.
