Excuse me? Are you serious? This guy is an Artisan. You do understand the term, I trust?. He knows exactly what hes doing and considers the clients needs. The bike is an already modified XS1100. He puts so much thought and effort into this project, that I would gladly leave my bike with him and say "do what you want". Wonderful work. Thank you.
Thanks man, I really only saw Jesse James do some hammering on the original Motorcycle Mania. I said, I can do that.. and started pounding. Got some hammeres and a bag, pounded somemore and it was done. If I had to do it again I'd use a size thinner steel or aluminum. Can't weld AL right now though..
Thanks for the video! I'm in South Africa, and don't want to have to import a ready made seat. I'm definitely trying you technique! Thing is I only have a old school welder, but hey!
thanks for posting how to...nice job on seat....i'm going to try to make a seat to but i;m using fibergass, that metal seat looks pretty strong i didnt think of using metal maybe next time..
seen ur vids before u did a sweet job for hand forming steel its 1 thing to cut and weld something its another to hand form sheet steel that shit scares me and im a welder by trade
I like your vids. I'm a pretty decent fabricator and it was kinda hard to follow what you were doing. Check out my shitty vids to see how I make mine flow. The newer ones are best starting at about episode 3 or 4. 7 is the best.,. I made my set up completely different but with a similar outcome..
