My wife and I still talk about the great triple bill show we saw at Portland's Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall on Friday Aug. 9, 2002 -- The John Butler Trio and Guster opening for John Mayer. It was a triple tie for best performance that evening. I remember looking around the venue and thinking that (at age 51) we might have been oldest couple in the crowd.
