Hi Damien, I was there at the Hyatt Canberra. I loved every minute of his speech. His take down of the local media ( including the ABC) was epic. We had a great time and it was therapeutic.

Assuming an average efficiency rate of 15% for solar panels, we can calculate that it would take around 6,666 MW of solar panels to produce the same amount of electricity as a 1,000 MW nuclear power plant.

I’m neither Left nor Right and view the LNP/Lab/greens detrimental to the health wealth and safety of my country. From what I understand from the High Court, on land rights, is that the 20% of land that most cities sit on, native title was extinguished. Now if you look into the native title land rights, that are going on at present…the government are pushing Aboriginals to claim native title over 80% of the land….its a UN initiative and was started before the Voice to parliament (IMO it was a fall back incase the referendum failed)….it has always been about the land, they couldn’t give a rats about the aboriginals. I believe that the government want the 80% of Australia under native title to eventually extinguish those native title rights and remove the land ownership from the aboriginals, the problem for aboriginals by claiming native title, is that they are aiding and abetting the government to remove that native title forever. Aboriginals would have been better off to not claim, and always be considered the original land owners. Limitations of Native Title Resource rights Under Native Title, commercial rights are generally not recognised. This means that First Nations people are unable to make money from their Native Title rights. There are also no rights to minerals, gas, or petroleum that might be found on their lands. Conflicting rights The rights of pastoralists, mining organisations, federal government and private owners override Native Title should any conflicts occur between these groups. No veto rights Native Title does not grant First Nations people the ability to veto mining projects. Instead, they must advocate and negotiate with mining companies to protect their lands, especially sites of cultural significance such as sacred sites. Extinguishment Native Title rights can be extinguished which means that Native Title holders no longer have the ability to fully exercise their rights in a specific area. Once extinguished these rights can almost never be reinstated. No amendment protection There is no protection for Native Title holders if governments make amendments are made to legislation. Is native title extinguished on freehold land? Native title is extinguished on privately owned land (including family homes and freehold farms), on residential, commercial and certain other leases and in areas where government has built roads or other public works. The above Quotes can easily be found on the net….people won’t lose their homes as native title has been extinguished….as far as the federal court awarding non exclusive rights to the land for aboriginals, isn’t a win for them, and if challenged further in the high court, they could possibly even lose those non-exclusive rights to the land due to the possible extinguished native title that may already exist.

One tiny thing you mentioned though made me prick my ears. Are you sure that nicotene is "addictive but harmless"? I refer you to Dr Bryan Ardis' well-researched and cited work which posits that nicotene is not addictive and is in fact very beneficial to health - the reason governments all of a sudden feel the need to protect us from using it.
