Actually in vedas the temples were never mentioned as there are no temple culture then, vedas are more about Yajnas and performing sacrifices and it’s mentioned in Yajurveda that Shudras (4th cast or varna) were not allowed to perform certain kind of Yajnas or sacrifices. And yes there is certain discriminations on women who were in menstruation and it’s not the same as man blending with wound, at least according to vedas. And at very basic even tho the ayyappa board temple was discriminatory and un ethical, I couldn’t understand why women want to go to that place where they have no respect, looked down and discriminated Actually in return women should boycott supporting that temple.
