Damn! This hit my feed randomly but this interview was TOP RANK 🏆🏆🏆 this hit real hard! subbed wit the quickness. This interview gave me Kev Mac vibes but straight from a Daygo founding member's perspective. This what I was waiting for. I mean from the formulation of Paul Lowe Control to Lincoln Park Players to Piru, OG gave specific years to the T. This man's timeline and memory is impeccable. Pure unadulterated SD hood history. No vague statements or fluff. Thats the shit I like! Felt like I was listening to my own OGs story tellin. Can tell OG Haney was a founding member or at the very least, early 1st generation member. The kicker is I used to work with an OG from Lincoln thats OG Haneys age bracket and had to have ran wit him on the streets but he gave me conflicting history which confused me when it came out his own mouth. He was a Paul Lowes Control boy and broke down the liquor store story just like Haney did but then he told me they became Lincoln Park Crips before Piru (no disrepect intended) and said Lincoln Park was hella deep wit Crips in the late 70s. His name was Earl never caught his hood name but he had 3 tear drop tattoos, neck blasted and bald looked like a Gee'd up Steve Harvey. OG did 27 and some change and gave his life to the lord when he touched down so didnt go too deep into his past but that shit had me confused when he said Lincoln was Crips before Pirus. I asked OG if he was sure because I thought that was a rumor to smut Lincoln and he was dead serious and said everyone from his section young and old know him so 🤷. The Lincoln history remind me of the original Compton Piru St history where some say they were Crips as well. Either way this interview was a wealth of information. sidenote - did I hear correctly that OG Haney's ese homie he mentioned from Logan Heights is the same Pop Eye David Barron from the arrelano felix Cartel? That's deep. Shot out to yall, OG Haney and other factors like Hoodie Hood from 40s putting out SD's gang history in a non glorifying way. Love and respects from an asian homie from the city 💯

I was friends with “Green Rock” from Lincoln Park. I lived across the street from “Spanky” who started Bunny Boys, which was a “Crew” before it was a violent gang in Emerald Hill’s. I knew “Hollywood” from Lincoln Park. Delano tried to recruit me to sell dope but I told him to kick rocks literally!.lol San Diego is a beautiful city that unfortunately, lacked black culture and a sense of unity. Many of the father’s of these gang members were criminals too. Or, they worked late and didn’t spend time with their son’s. If you don’t spend time with your kids, the streets will. If you don’t raise your kids, law enforcement and the prison system will!!!
