Amazing stuff mate. Love the way you are doing this for yourself and not for masses of likes and money from monetised channels that we all see these days. There are others copying yout travels now.
Said it before mate, but I'm 65 and I only started making the vid's so that I can remember the journey - as I could be gaga in ten years time - as well as share it with friends and family - and hopefully encourage others to get on their bikes and travel.
Hi Ian, you're looking well and I must say you are an inspiration to us older gentlemen who have been wanting to do something similar, maybe after watching your videos some of us might be tempted to start doing instead of thinking about it 😊
Great weather great ride - am sure you have - are you using a thin mirror mat which might help - glad ur safe and enjoying yourself - still effing cold over here - 👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Top quality entertainment, and your adventure makes me want to visit Morocco myself. Alas, as I work I would need to fly and hire due to time constraints. I did look at shipping my bike but it is £1,000 ONE WAY from the UK to Gibraltar. Regards, Your Subscriber. P.S. I love the piece of music that you have used on a few of your videos.
From my experience in Morocco touring on motorcycle, the roads are very good and the scenery is mind blowing. For those who haven't visited Morocco or planning to visit, many of the roads shown in the videos are secondary roads or as they call them national or regional. From point A to point B you can take the highway which not very interesting except that it is faster but you can also take those secondary roads. And ,for more adventurous bikers, there are dirt roads. The problem that I have encountered is that highways and national roads are well maintained but the other paths are good but you never know if they end at some point or there is road work or some inconvenience until you put on miles. There are no signs at the start to warn you.
I am a really enthusiastic fan of your channel. a truly genuine and good feeling experience. it's all real without advertising and selling products or other sponsorships. drop by one day in Scotland. Your files warm well from the couch in winter-cold Norway. Have a good trip and
Very nice Ian, Morocco keeps giving. You even had me trying to recall the words of the Julie Andrew's song .... high on a hill sat a lonely goat herd etc... . Many thanks and stay safe.
Another beautiful showcasing of Morocco. I’m hoping it stays cold north of you so you spend more time traveling through Morocco and Spain😊. I was wondering where do you get your water when you’re camping? Maybe just bottles of water from the store?
I have 2 x 1.5L bottles in the left crash bar bag and 2 x 1.5L bottles on the right side. One side is for drinking water and the other side is for my kettle for making tea. If I'm on a campsite then I use campsite water my kettle and making tea. For drinking water I buy bottled water when I'm passing a shop.
I have a paper map (analogue) which I look at before I make a journey and on the ride itself I use google maps on my phone. I didnt want to pay the £180 for the garmin maps and the free maps i downloaded dont work - so google maps it is. TBH, its very hard to get lost in Morocco.
