Hello! I just found you here and am very happy I did! I love that you are into all the making ( as am I). Am now off to gather yarn for the Alignment blanket. Love love love. Have never seen This pattern before so super happy to learn about it. Thanks for the inspiration. 😊
Hi from Rachel! All of these projects are so stunning! Your flower power pullover reminds me so much of a store called The Tiny Big Sister. Its such a beautiful design and I love seeing it in neutrals! ❤
@@brookwillow lol they targeted me on Instagram, and their prices are a bit out of my range but I am in love with so many of their designs! Your pullover would fit right in 🥰
I totally agree, i enjoy knitting for myself most of all, and that's half the fun of the hobby. Rest and relaxation and a lovely garment to wear at the end if it 🥰
I want to make the flower power so bad but I'm on a yarn ban and I dont think I have any stash that will suit it right now. Living vicariously through yours, it's stunning! :')
Another awesome video! I really enjoy all your knitting AND your sewing! Your pants and your tops are so pretty and stylish. I'm working on a couple of knitted sweaters but in Texas where the Summer was blazing hot, I had to take a break. It's finally cooling down a bit so I'm getting back into it and your video certainly did help to motivate and inspire me!! Hugs from Texas!!
I love the gold plaid not PJ pants. Beautiful plaid matching and so many styling options (which btw you do phenomenally). You could put the side pockets in and not create too much bulk/bulging by using a silky fabric?? I'm almost inspired to take out the sewing machine out of the vault!!
Hi Ahna, I love Margaret from Heidi and Lana. She really does give great details in her patterns and her yarns. She is my favorite Indie Dyer. I discovered her at Stitches West 5 years ago. Highly recommend ! Cant wait to see your progress on her Alignment throw.
Your blanket is going to be beautiful Anna! I made A Day Out blanket by Sarah Hatton, which was interesting because there are so many different designs in it. Also have plans to make the Flower Power sweater but need to choose the yarn. Yours looks cozy and great on you! Also like your haircut- very flattering!
I’m so in love with the sweater you are wearing in this video! It’s stunning! And I also have an Andrea mowry sweater (wool&honey) that I’m working on and my goal is thanksgiving too. Fingers crossed we both finish in time!
Love your episode. All the projects you’ve made are gorgeous. I just ordered the Zero Waste book because I’d LOVE to make the pants and top. Thanks for inspiring. 😊🥰
Absolutely loved this video!! Super fun to hear about intarsia and socks. I'm new to both. I'm usually just over here knitting sweaters 24 7 lol! Love love those sock yarn colors you picked! Please keep us updated on how you like those yarns❤
I’m really loving all your knits! The blanket you were making would make beautiful pillows to match!❤ looking forward to seeing the progress on your boyfriend Cardigan and I really love the color. It’s so perfect for this time of year.
I love seeing everything you're working on! Also, I really appreciate that you don't just use the 'fancy yarn' for all of your projects. I'm working on my first sweater, and I opted for micheals yarn just because it's my first sweater, and it's turning out so soft. Would you be able to do a video on knitting 2 socks at a time? I feel like that sounds a bit intimidating when you're use to only knitting one at a time.
I love that it was a long Episode 🤩 - som much inspiration! 🙏 I know several people that bye wool fleece from Nutiden kind of regulary so they should have updates on that as well. Thank you for all you are sharing. You are one of my favourites podcasts 😍.
Love love love - gorgeous work as always. I feel like we should do a merlot sock KAL because I also have a very similar color that I have been wanting to knit up!
I am so obsessed with the sweater you’re wearing - I’ve been thinking about making it since you posted it on IG but I’m a little intimidated by the construction since it’s bottom up and knit flat 😬Also just wanted to say that I love your channel! I’ve been going through and watching all your episodes from the beginning. Thanks for sharing your projects!
I feel ya in knitting flat bottom up. If it makes you feel any more confident I think the length in the pattern is perfect. And there are directions on how to customize the length with the motif pattern if you want to adjust that in any way!
Your projects are looking beautiful!! I LOVE the Cascade Heritage yarn. I have used it in many projects for socks, sweaters, a dress, and currently Camisole No. 9 by MFT. It wears so beautifully and even though it feels so soft, I have found that it holds up well. Happy knitting!
So love the feast of fall colours and textures, Ahna! Cozy and inspiring. Thank you for sharing how you choose your projects and your process while making them. ❤ Craving merlot socks, too!
Let us know how the refine yarn wears for socks! I was going to buy some for socks at my LYS and the person there didn’t recommend them for socks. I have used their heritage sock base for socks and they pilled and looked worn immediately. I ended up making more socks with the heritage sock base but holding them double with itself and those socks held up a little better. I had bought a lot of colors in it last year before I actually knit with it because I made socks for family for Xmas and it was affordable.
Anna the flower sweater looks amazing on you and great colour .. all your knits a gorgeous .. thank you fir your podcast I enjoy yours so much .. have a great week !!! 💝🥰
I love the idea you had for the two hand-spins in the cowl, same colors plied with different bases. Very clever idea. 🧶 💜. PS your blanket is elegant. Like you I don’t care for true scrappy fabrics.
