It's really weird! I wonder if it has something to do with 1. the restructuring with HYBE and rights holding, 2. They're planning on using that footage in something official, 3. The change in US record labels, and/or (and this happens alot) 4. malicious false copyright claims. There are actually scammers on YT that claim rights that aren't theirs (antis also love to report BTS related content)...and of course you guys know it's a pain in the arse to appeal blocks and strikes. To answer your question about the audition process, we don’t actually know many details. We know Bang Sihyuk (the CEO) found RM first and signed him on the spot, but then didn’t really know what to do with him. First he decided to make a rap group, but the other members quit. Then Suga and j-hope joined late 2010 along with 4 other people, who also eventually left (or stayed as in-house producers but not as members). In general, Big Hit was searching for appropriate members for BTS from 2010-2012, and there were many trainees during the time (around 9 or I believe up to 20 at some point?), coming and leaving as they decided to quit/were found to not be a good match. Jimin was the last member to join in 2012, and at the end of 2012, they all decided that the line-up was best (chemistry wise and talent/effort/personality wise) with the 7 members we have now. They released youtube vlogs and soundcloud songs to promote and to create an audience before officially debuting with their first album in 2013. This is all from my understanding though, there may be a couple of details I missed

Hobi was already a Trainee when RM came, he was the first Bighit trainee ever and signed at age 16 they talked about it on Festa, he was third one to come into the Band 3 weeks after Yoongi but Hobi worked as a Backup Dancer before that. Most of their writing is for BTS. They have more than 250 songs, and that doesn't include remixes or alternative versions. And the band members took part on writing most of it, and of course their solo work Outside of it, the three rappers have some writing credits for their collabs with other artists, and RM acted as lyricist for other artists from their company. Suga is the one with more credits as composer and producer outside of BTS. He worked with big names of the South Korean industry

I will comment as I watch your video so sorry for the long comment. This introduction has some spoilers but it's a good one. And although it's fairly new, it is already a little outdated. From my knowledge, the only ones who wrote for others are: RM(he is credited on one song of their fellow label mates Tomorrow x Together - 0x1=LOVESONG, it's a good emo pop rock song imo) plus he has some collabs with others. Suga is the one who also produced and wrote songs for many other people, some with him also featuring. You have to remember their debut was in 2013 and they constantly released albums with relatively little time inbetween them, add the collabs, RM and Suga's 2 mixtapes, J-hope's mixtape plus other songs by the other members uploaded on Soundcloud. They have aprox 300 songs! So the credits are impressive but considering this, they are realistic. They are just very prolific lol, especially the rapline. I mean, their album Map of the Soul: 7 has 19 songs (plus a remix we don't really like to talk about hehe) I know many people recommend Chicken Noodle Soup because it's J-Hope's most famous solo song. It's a really good song to see how different his style is from the other two rappers, plus the original song hold a special place in his heart as a dancer. But I personally recommend also checking out his other two solo MVs from his mixtape: Airplane and Daydream. That fox from Jin's solo song Moon is a reference to the Little Prince, it's not just a freaky mask :) That song by V is called Winter Bear. I has a video on their BANGTANTV channel. It's a really calming song. JK is an impressive individual but he has said his nickname Golden Maknae is sometimes pressuring for him. And the fact that he is good as so many things often leads to people overlooking how much of a hardworking person he is. Ida S's channel is dedicated to JK and has some videos showcasing his talents: "Jungkook's amazing talents" I think shows some of his art. Also "Jungkook the main vocalist of BTS" shows what his roles in the band mean."Why Jungkook is your bias" is also good. All the members have amazing talents and the fact that they are very hardworking and humble plays a huge role in why they are so loved by many. I am telling you, you will absolutely love the Rise of Bangtan series which I am sure has been recommended already. It will open your eyes even more :) it is also so well made and if you pay attention it answers many questions you may have. A little tip: also pay attention to the lyrics of the songs that are played if you start the series, because they oftentimes are related to the story portrayed.

I wouldn't say who is bigger than who, but clearly rapline is the foundation of BTS. A lot of their songs are hit thanks to them, including their in-house producers. They have the most produced songs among the members as well. All members of the rapline are full members of the Korea music copyright association while the vocal line members are associate members. If you see the tracklist for the new come back, even for just CD1, RM is credited 18/19 songs. Each member of the rapline has over 100+ songs credited to them(maybe and Suga have 200+ now). So yeah.

You could watch Rise of Bangtan chapter 1, I'm not saying that you should watch all chapters (they are great), but only first episode for now bc in this one they explain how it looked like for BTS and how it looks like in industry. If I remember correctly at first there was like 15 boys maybe closer to 20, someone quit someone didn't fit, or couldn't keep up, some go some come, and in the end there was like close to 10 then some go, some stayed as part of company. And it was clear who would be part of band. Hmm

Jungkook, V and SUGA are the members that paint regularly as one of their hobbies. In the album BE there was a postcard that showed SUGA's painting he did during a vlive. That and some of their other art also could be found hanging in the new compound where In The Soop 2 had been filmed. Jungkook likes realistic/naturalistic art, V is more the surrealist painter and SUGA likes painting abstract. In 2010 Big Hit started looking for members for their hip hop group. Namjoon, Yoongi and Hobi were all taken in as trainees from summer to late 2010, then Jin and Jungkook were added in the course of early to mid 2011. Tae came in 3 months after Jungkook and the one who came last (and had the shortest training time of only 3 months) was Jimin though V was revealed as the last member to the public only a short time before their debut. Usually during their trainee days, companies try to lure trainees away from their companies as they are not under a contract per se. Up to this time only one group had a baritone SINGER, usually baritones were used as rappers as the public seemed not to like pop songs with deeper singing voices but tastes were changing so a true baritone singing voice of Tae's calibre was a gem (and yet they only did use him in the early songs for his growling capacity *sigh*).

At 27:08. You asked what was the song V was singing. It's Winter Bear. It's the first English solo V wrote. And the prevailing theory seems to be that the “winter bear” is actually the vocalist's grandmother, with this song being intended to commemorate the third anniversary of her passing. FYI, V was actually raised by his paternal grandma, who left the mortal plane on 4 September 2016.Aug 13, 2019.

Hi, I am back. Good reaction, ty. The video is actually out of date. Actually now Namjoon got 187 KOMCA credits as of 1/1/2022. I think Namjoon is the 2nd most credited idol. And Suga has 134 credits (9th), J-Hope 119 (12th). They updated the list in Jan it was all over TwT. For Jin and all of them they had amazing singing teachers. And they helped each other a lot too. Because they did not have steady training in the early years. Rise of Bangtan has a lot of that info. With V I feel look's were one thing but maybe the staff heard his speaking voice and was like 0.0 oh he needs to audition. The staff are trained to find potential and so they were 100% right. Jimin had 6-8 months of training only! He was almost let go 8 times. It was a really stressful time for him. V asked Bang PD to let Jimin stay and RM supported him. The others trained for 2-3 yrs together before debut. The more u know! =0] RM is just RM now. It's not real me. He was asked this in an interview and said no that is not his name. JHope is the main dancer. JK is lead dancer. Yeah JK is a triple threat. He is the Golden Maknae for a reason! =0p I hope u get to check out more solo and group songs. They have such great music. For your confusion about Jungkook being the main dancer, he's actually the lead. Jhope and Jimin are both the main dancers (so the '1st' one, so to speak), then Jungkook is the lead dancer (so he'd be the '2nd' highest position) I think sometimes people get a little too caught up in all the official stuff though. They're all very good at what they do, and most of them are good in different ways, so it's hard to compare them to each other. Certain positions do come with extra responsibilities (like Jhope with dancing and Jungkook with singing), so acknowledging that IS important, but overall they're all incredibly talented and each of them bring something unique to the group, even if they're ""just"" a vocalist and not a lead, for example. Like how you guys thought Jin would be one of the Main vocalists at first, because he's just as amazing as any of the others, when in reality he's technically got one of the lowest positions in that group! For the most part, outside of a few of the more technical aspects and behind the scenes things, I don't think the positions are too crucial or indicative of talent at this point in their lives. They've all got over a decade of experience and it really shows! For simplicity's sake, though, the "order" for all of them, with the 'highest' at the top, would be something like: *Rap Line:* RM - Main Suga - Lead Jhope - Rapper (I've also seen him listed as a Lead rapper, though, so I'm not sure) Jungkook - Sub-rapper *Vocal Line:* Jungkook - Main Jimin - Lead Jin - Vocalist V - Vocalist Jhope - Sub-vocalist *Dance Line:* Jhope - Main Jimin - Main Jungkook - Lead V - Dancer (I've also seen him listed as a Lead dancer as well, sorry again for not being sure!)

Hopefully you're beginning to have a sense why thinking of them as a "boy band like Backstreet Boys" or "kpop which I have no interest in since I don't speak Korean" which is how most Americans or westerners think of them really misses the mark. They're immensely talented and quite intriguing as individuals and as a group. The fact that they've become the biggest band in the world almost entirely through social media & word-of-mouth is mind blowing. The most incredible thing about them though is the diversity of their fanbase across age, nationality, race, gender, etc. and I have never in my long life seen so many people say a band literally saved their life or had so much of an impact on them.

BTS has well over 200 songs, and more than one member will often write/create on the same song (along with their in-house team and others), so those credits aren’t necessarily for different songs. (They have done stuff for others, but not as much) Jhope and Jimin are the main dancers of the group and JK is the lead dancer (remember the ranking system form the beginning), but the guys treat Jhope as their *dance leader* because they all look up to him and kinda want his validation with their dance skills. I've been watching you guys since you started your BTS journey and am loving every step of the way. You guys are very insightful, respectful and funny and I love your personal friendship which shines thru all of your reactions. RM's 2017 collab with Wale on "Change" is so underappreciated imho. (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9rAyprZdo7o.html). THey've also collab with Juice Wrld a few times (All Night being my personal fave). Taylor's video is good - i see a lot of recommendations - personally, I'd wait until her revised edition comes out as there were a few errors in content, and a lot of suggestions to round out Jimin's info to incl his martial arts, and a few other things. It is VERY well done. The BU is this amazing universe BH created with BTS telling a fictional story with them as the main characters that they've woven into an online game, hints of the story in their album liner notes, published works (BU Notes) , a webtoon, and thru MV videos. It's still not a done storyline, and it's very sad, introspective, and deep - there are tons of "theory" videos on it - and thankfully the MV's are marked with a BU so the visuals aren't totally confusing. (the songs stand out on their own). The scenes with JK dancing in the water and Jimin's "white scarf" dance are from the 2019 MMA award show (Melon Music awards) it's long and legendary - but it might be good to familiarize yourself with the songs they do for their individual spotlights first. Almost everything is interwoven in some way and connects thru their entire discography. As you get into the solo's might be fun to do RM Persona> Suga Shadow interlude> Jhope Ego. The JK artistic vid's are fun, there is also one that just hilights Jimin's martial arts. As you learn more and more songs i think you'd also like seeing their live stuff - they usually have song remixes - the old stuff is super fun but since i hit 3/4 days in Vegas I've been loving the live fancams from there as well. It really allows you to see their interactions on stage with fans and with each other -- especially watch their very heartfelt comments they do every concert. I have never seen another act in 40 yrs of concert going who do what they do! Thx again for the great channel and fun content.

Taehyung (V) is the most popular member. Maybe the people on your RU-vid channel don't bias him much but you can simply go to his insta to see he is the one with the most engagemente and followers or go to his solo profile of Spotify and see he is the only one of bts members with such streams in individual work outside of the band. Maybe you can search on RU-vid and see that he has the most seen fancam ever in kpop. Don't think that the people watching your videos are a good measure.

So sorry you are having a hard time with RU-vid. It does seem like they are cracking down and blocking alot more these days. I suppose that's why so many other reactors I watch are now using other platforms. Anyway, I really appreciate that you are giving BTS so much time and attention. I will definitely check out your Patreon too. BTS will always hold a special place in my heart because they helped me find my way out from a very dark place after my Mom passed away. They affected my life in so many positive ways, it would probably end up more of a book than a list if I tried to explain it all. Of course I have expanded my musical horizons and listen to a lot of different languages now but also watch movies and shows in many other languages too. I am currently learning Korean, Japanese and Gaelic. Although BTS is and probably will always be my #1, my second (and maybe third) favorite group(s) are actually Korean bands....they play instruments and don't dance. One is called N.Flying and the other is called F.T. Island. I don't know if I would literally rank F.T. Island as my third favorite, haven't really given it that much thought, but I really like them. Anyway, I've listed a link to a video that I hope you guys can react to ( I hope it won't get blocked) called "Still Love You" by Lee HongGi and Yoo HweSeung. I feel they both have amazing voices and it's a beautiful song. I discoved Lee HongGi through K-dramas, I noticed him in several dramas and wanted to know more about him. That is how I discovered he was also a singer and in a group called F.T. Island through FNC Entertainment. This lead to the music video I am leaving a link too, which is with a singer called Yoo HweSeung. HweSeung is lead singer in a group called N.Flying which is also with FNC Entertainment and has a voice that in my opinion is extremely under-appreciated. I hope you can find the time to give it a reaction. I believe the song was written by Lee HongGi. "Still Love You" Lee HongGi and Yoo HweSeung ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-50TvhCxOyIc.html Thank you again for reacting to BTS. I will look forward to your future reactions. BTS is a Family 💜 ARMY is a Family 💜 BTS and ARMY = World Wide Family !!!!💜🎶🌍🌎🌏🎵💜

A lot of my favorite reactors on RU-vid have had to go the Patreon route and I was always sad to not be able to follow their journey further, but you guys are so awesome…I’m going to head over there and follow you guys. I love that you do your research and you always have something to contribute to this ongoing discovery of BTS. Keep up the great work!

A good video to watch to learn about Jungkook is "Why Jungkook is Your Bias" by Ida S ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ahYjwWgXZew.html Just my recommendation since he is my bias 😁

Please please please watch "The Most Beautiful Life Goes On Updated Version" by Rice Squad formerly the Asian Theory. It's the most up-to-date one out there. They released the updated one right after the Grammy's. It talks more about the group and their music and focuses less on the individuals, but it's really well done and professional. Love your channel.

this introduction video, to me, feels like it is sort of biased towards jungkook, so it isn’t my favorite. i still loved the reaction tho! i fell like the one made by taylor nakamoto is the best updated introduction!!❤

I bet a lot of people will regret their young era doing stupid thing instead of explore theirself. This is why I hate twerkin' girl, flexin' car flexin' money, smoke weed etc etc in most of hip hop videos nowadays. Totally useless.
