Next time you guys pull an automatic transmission out, unbolt the torque converter and drop the trans with it still in. The transmission will come out easier and you won't be spilling transmission fluid. Enjoyed the video!

Hey I have a issue with my cluster sc300 manual fuel and temp work but the rpm and speedometer does not work or function needles stay at zero took it to mechanic they can't seem find the issue
+BgsAreUs It took us a week to put everything in. We're still currently working on it because of a issue we have with the adapter plate not being machined out to the correct measurements.
aalewis98 all of the interior part are available at your local Lexus/Toyota dealer as the SC300 can in a 5-speed manual. You can go to the dealer and order any interior part as well as the slave cylinder for the clutch. The W58 is the trans that came in the SC300 so you should literally need the adapter ring to bolt to the motor, the flywheel, and clutch. Everything else should be available from Lexus. The driveshaft may have to be shortened/lengthened. If the adapter plate moves it a bunch, but the stock DS has adjustment if the center bearing.
You might have trouble if you decide to run a clutch slave setup, it might be to close to the exhaust, or interfere with it, so you'll have to get a custom exhaust. I'm running a hydraulic setup.
@@djchasingsummerjoan no, 2k is with you doing it yourself and waiting for good deals to pop up for swap components, such as transmission, driveshaft, etc.
@@djchasingsummerjoan like 2.5k I think is the typical for everything to swap it. id probably say think about a grand for shop labor since its not a very hard job. So total about 3.5k with a shop doing it if I had to guess
