Originally from Switzerland , but emigrated to the UK years ago. Now I've finally got my full A license and my trusty Interceptor and am planning a long trip "back home" next summer This video just makes me more and more excited about it
Absolutely beautiful scenery. We went there in 1990 camping but by car with the kids. Memories of it to this day and enjoyed the travel, god only knows what it’s like on a bike 😎👍
Ha ha your right Peter I did ride around with my mouth wide open a lot. It is absolutely stunning and the video doesn't do it true justice to be fair. Thanks fella.
2008 when I went there. I remember these well. You passed thr camp site I stayed in at the beginning as you descended those first hairpins. Down in the valley all I could here from early morning was bikes heading up. magic.
We were out there in June 2017. I keep looking on the opposite side of the road to see if I can see us in your vids.😆 Our reaction to the mountains was the same as yours. Stunning. We switched between Switzerland and the Italian lakes. But all we wanted to do is get back in the mountains. We booked our accommodation as we went.Great vids. It’s like reliving a holiday whilst laying in bed. 👍
So so jealous of you and your friends what roads , good time THANKS for sharing your trip has inspired me to get the finger out and try to book one for wife and I next year keep safe
Thanks for watching James appreciate it. You will not be disappointed if you do it, it's even better riding it for yourself so hope you go for it Ride Safe friend
Amazing indeed Rachel probably best roads I've been on, but have a bit planned for the coming year so we will see, thanks for watching and ride safe lady 👍
These videos are great. Thanks for taking the time to edit and post them. Ive never riden abroad so im planning a 1 night stay in Dunkirk to see how i get on, then hopefully il go for longer. Cheers.
Great stuff! Thanks for posting .I have not been able to ride much this summer due to health problems so I have been living vicairiously through your videos.
Hi Steve, well once again your videos have given me an idea of where to go. It looks amazing. Could you tell me what time of year did you do this trip please.
Carl this was one amazing tour my friend probably the best I have done and we went in June fella which turned out to be a bit to hot but we managed lol. Hope you do get to do it as you won't regret it.
Hi Steve, your Switzerland Series inspired me to visit in 2018 and even stayed at the same campsite. I am returning this year (fingers crossed), and like you want to film it, after watching lots and lots of videos i think your music and soundtracks are faultless and i am wondering if you use a particular company to download your music through? Keep up the good work and looking forward to seeing more videos from you. If you ever find yourself near Dorset i know some decent fish and chips haunts.
Hey Scott really hope you manage to get back there this year mate. As regards music believe it or not most of the music I use I got from RU-vid's own Audio library. There's loads to choose from so have a look my friend and if you do manage the tour and film it let me know so I can have a watch. Ride Safe fella.
Hey bikerman thanks for watching and for taking the time to comment. Certainly was spectacular scenery and as far as the editing goes I'm self taught mainly by watching RU-vid videos on how to edit so am getting there. Ride Safe my friend
Just subscribe pal. Thanks for sharing. We did simular last year, Uk to Croatia taking in the Swiss alps. Thanks for sharing. Working through your series.
yes we probably don't realise how much work you have to do behind the scenes to make a coherent interesting video which flows seamlessly, Thumbs up, and ride safe.
Good video content .. would be so much more watchable if you didn't have the background music so loud! it actually drowns out your commentary - certainly watchable but having to turn off sound completely and roll with the screen text..
You only buy one as they last from Jan to Dec and any service station sells them but you can buy online before you go my friend hope this helps or click this link for loads more info www.myswissalps.com/motorwayvignette
We started out June 10th for 10 days my friend and in answer to question earlier about pin pointing viewing point in last video, if you put these co-ordinates into google maps it will pin point it for you N. 46.706992 E. 7.742377 thanks for watching
Just did this ride two weeks ago, sadly we couldn't complete the Susten Pass as a land slide had killed one biker and injured ten others! Amazing roads and scenery, my advice would be ride them on a weekday, as weekends it is full of local Rossi Wannabe's.
Hi Nick real sorry to hear about loss and injuries of fellow bikers thats terrible. I'm uploading Furka Pass this weekend then will follow with the Susten Pass ride safe my friend. 👍
Hi Steve, had my friends credit card not been declined at a petrol pump we could've added to the numbers, it wasn't the only incident we heard of that day. Excellent video, cheered me up after my camera had decided to default its settings and most of my recordings are in very poor quality - excuse to go back, right? Ride safe mate and keep up the good work with the videos!
Wow you were very lucky then Nick and yeah great excuse to go back lol. I will be returning sometime as has to be one of the best biking countries in the world. Thanks for watching and ride safe fella
