Dr. Miller defines the concept of worldview and answers four big questions: Where does the idea of worldview come from?, Is worldview thinking biblical?, Why should Christians study different worldviews?, and What is the foundation for the Christian worldview?
SHOW NOTES
* A worldview is the lens we use to interpret the world and focus our observations into a clear picture that best answers the questions of origin, meaning, morality, and destiny.
* Studying worldview matters because it helps us learn to connect with people who don’t think like us, it shapes our moral decision making, and it lays the foundation for human flourishing.
* The Christian worldview is grounded in five foundational commitments: 1) God spoke the world into existence and is active in human history, 2) Jesus Christ is the living word of God, 3) the Scripture is the written word of God, 4) the Holy Spirit speaks the word of God, and 5) the church is the manifest word of God.
