I'm so glad I made the right decision by hiring an attorney

If a person reaches 100% and the insurance company knows that there is a possibility of reaching the level how does the attorney get paid. If a case has been going on for six years and there is a payment adjustment for those six years does the attorney get paid out of that adjustment payment. Medical is kept and not sold back to the insurance company. The attorney fee is 15%. Hopefully that makes sense. Thank you in advance!

Yikes! Sorry to hear about your work accident. The process is definitely stressful, we hope you hired legal assistance so you could focus on recovering while they focus on all of the legal aspects of your claim. Wishing you nothing but the best! - Bilal and Carmen

My attorney is taking 40% and I don’t mind because she’s doing what’s right for me and I was injured very terribly at work

There is NO WAY you can win a case without an attorney....at least in WA State. The rules and laws are so complicated and the employer is making extra effort to sabotage your claim at every chance that is is nearly impossible to represent yourself. I lawyered up early when I was injured and I'm glad I did. That attorney represented me for three years until it went to trial and it costed me 0! I won a WA L&I Pension. My attorney got 20% of the backpay (Well over six figures) and 15% of my monthly payments. That fee is well worth it!

Every state is different, here in CA, lawyers can't take more than 15%.

Hi, first time listener. My attorney called me yestoday and he told me that they are for me so much and I said well, I probably think the offer and then he's OK. And a minute after he called me back and he asked me if I apply for a social security and I say yes, sir and he sounded like he got a little bit upset and yes, and call me back.So can you explain to me what happened there

You can't double dip, meaning you can't get workers' comp and Social Security Benefits at the same time. If you are offered a settlement, you will need to pay back the money to Social because who should have been paying you should have been workers' comp insurance.

If I want to leave the medical open my lawyer will no put to much work on it? The risk of do no get enough money for cover the future is not peace of mind.

It's a tough decision, that is why it is highly encouraged to seek legal help and not just any help, a great one!
