Awesome episode. Anything out of Cody and Andrae's mouth has value to it. Love hearing the history and evolution of the company. Their gear is as quality as it gets. Would love to hear to hear the tactics podcast with him too. I've listened to him talk and him at their Mobile Hunter Roadshows and always learn something new to apply.
They need to make a mobile lock on with a taller seat post... an extra 3 or 4 o Inches is way way more comfortable for someone 6'3" Well worth the weight
I have been hunting for 8-9 years. Basically self taught and my woodsmanship is HORRIBLE. Everything is learned trial and error. Really wish I would have had someone I could have learned from. Just finding sign does very little. Knowing what to do with the sign is the woodsmanship and I lack that so much.
I was the exact same, man. Best piece of advise I could give is to just try to find anyone who's been doing it, even via social media and just ask questions. The hunting. community is extremely generous when it comes to that stuff. Thanks for the comment. -Ross
Read books walk around the woods... everything cody says is true... by the way the it's the same days every year... I been hunting since diapers don't ever give up keep the wind in ur face... scentlock is a scam like the cameras and other garbage... the more energy u put into it better off u will be good luck and shoot straight...
I would love for someone to come hunt the public land in western Maryland with me with stickbow. It ain’t for the faint of heart. Still looking for my “reward” my first buck with trad equipment.
Cody is selling a brand,, the old school hunter which in reality how much woodsmanship is there in hunting his highly manicured property..He hunts prehung stands and it doesn't take much woodsmanship to hunt that..Now his dad came up and had real woodsmanship.
