Good info, thanks. I plan to trailer my Islander 28 sailboat next Oct. from a land locked lake in SC to Deltaville to launch her for a lower Chesapeake Bay sail for a couple weeks of exploring. I will continue down the ICW to at least Beaufort, NC. The Dismal swamp is on my sail plan although I will have to keep an eye out on the depth as I draw 5’. Would you have any Marina/boat yard recommendations to launch my boat and step and tune the mast in the Deltaville area. Thanks.
