Funny how Kie immediately got Italian food from just spaghetti, while Xpaul and Cate missed out on Chinese food from Colton’s million clues few episodes back.

I played along without looking at the clues and the clue-giver didn't just list Chinese food. They said "Asian cuisine" and that didn't make me think of replacing each word (Asian=Chinese, cuisine=food). I thought they were describing a dish that was an example of Asian cuisine (chow mein, lo mein, etc.) and so did the contestants. If they had said "chow mein, lo mein," we would have got Chinese food.

They finally said what I've been thinking about "look like a Friday night, feel like a Sunday morning." 😜 Does anyone get what they mean? I would think of a desirable garment the other way - makes me look like I'm in my Sunday best, but it feels as relaxed and comfy as what I'd wear to hang out on Friday.

Ground = punishing teenager or blank hog day Credit = visa or debit Flunk = failed out of school Drowsy = medication sleepy Obese = overweight Hole = golfers dream Fluid = liquid or transmission blank Runway = plane takeoff Press = elvis last name Nest = birds home 25 words or less definitely

Ground = blank hog day or synonym floor. We do not use flunk over here. I would have said = not meeting exam passing mark, maybe. That is what a flunk entails right? Obese = could have added morbidly, or very over-weight. Press could have been tied to the media, or ironing action. Unlucky 😢 better luck next time.

Flunk is a synonym of fail in the context of classes/exams. I failed the exam. = I flunked the exam. The professor failed me. = The professor flunked me. Flunk is just more informal, and less common. I think the word just wasn’t on their radar, probably because it’s not too commonly used. (Meredith said it was the past tense of fail. It isn’t.)

yes, i kept thinking "Meet the.." for Press. Morbidly would have been a great one word clue

Flunk = failed exam. Not passing = fail.

@@eliasshakkour2904 I don't think she literally meant it was the past tense of fail. I think she meant "flunk" is the result of failing, etc.
