सब्सीडी का इतिहास तो आप बता रहे हैं अब भारत में वाहनों पर लगने वाले टेक्स के इतिहास भी बताना चाहिए कि सब्सिडी देते हैं या टेक्स लगा कर जनता की जेब काटते हैं

Now, EV technology is well established. It has certain advantages against vehicles running on petroleum. The research will continue to develop useful and economical batteries though their may be fall in production of EV vehicles in recent time. Next trigger points for increase in production will be when there will significant/continue increase in oil prices/ populations related crises.

Sir Excellent analysis.. But Sir another fact is that... Indian Automobile companies are shifting their Focus on EVs and upgrading their production facilities for EV. Lots of companies are setting up charging facilities and even govt is highly advocating the EV as the next generation . Don't they know what's going on in the world!!??😮
Anshuman Ji, I think you forgot the real political scenario behind shutting down the EV subsidy program. The EV companies were gaming the whole subsidy program. They created the fictitious companies and sold their own EV vehicles to sister companies in order to get subsidies. BYD is the best example and likely the poster boy. There are hundreds of parking lots full with EV vehicles like that. I wish if you had done little more research, the subject of this economicom episode would have been completely different. My two cents for this episode. Money central does need investigative journalists.
The subsidy by govt in the form of first pay & then reversal to consumers are not working. Why the govt didn't reduce the excise or GST at the level of production & sale, taxes at local level, etc. Indian govt would never promote EV because the tax revenue from vehicles sale & fuel sale is very significant portion of central & state govt. Who bothers for climate & environment.
This is a political conspairacy, because all of govt charges the tax on petrolium product. If they shift to EV what about income of Govt. even if people purchase the EV without subsidy. The all govts want to collect tax on petrol so they can survive .

Analysis is wrong as very impt factors which r in favour of EV and the Govt r being totally missed. Every govt is going to push for EV as they want to reduce their foreign exchange bills as more countries r importing fuel .
EVs are need of the hour, albeit the subsidy part will come down. Because the whole world is looking forward to shift to clean fuel to control carbon emissions and achieve zero carbon targets. The roller coaster ride of EVs will go on and the whole world will witness it.
If you are making your presentation in April 2023, you should take March 2023 figures in consideration and not Jan 2023 figures . Your other talks are purely theoretical and are not supported with market data or data from FADA an automotive dealers federation body . So not worth considering .
