I’m here for the second time listening to this guy …processing his thoughts and statements After this interview I’m now 100% convinced that Maponga is right I will walk this path with him You are not alone elder Maponga and YOU’ll NEVER WALK ALONE ❤
There is really nothing that he's saying, HE CONDENMS CHRISTIANITY AND THE BIBLE and when he feel he wants to make EMPHASIS ON AN IMPORTANT POINT HE QUOTES THE BIBLE. There's depth in vocabulary not sense.
@@kudakwashechiwashira8859I think you misunderstood what he was saying...Maponga is against the ideology of a White Jesus and a White God which we have been sold to by the whites for centuries...he just wants us to embrace our Africanicity that's all
It is always good to have people who ask uncomfortable questions about the society. People who think differently, like Maponga, Mono Mkundu, Shadhaya, and TF Chiwenga, contribute to new ways of thinking. Whether we agree with them or not, they help build a broader new perspective to the society as a whole.
The epitomy of African Philosophy. Most people will fail to understand the exact meaning of his words but trust me, this brother is a genius. We can disagree here and there, but i rate him very high.

@@kudakwashechiwashira8859 Bible has knowledge in it, some of it is ripped right out of Kemet and ancient spiritual systems. So quoting the Bible sometimes is too quote things that comes before the Bible at the sametime
Thats actually nonsense 😂😂. If he is God by nature he is powerful and did create time and space. Therefore he created everything nesu tisina basa. He does not need us to exist as we need him. To mke it worse ska dai tairamba tichiurayana or tichiita ma child sacrifice tofana kungosiwa takadaro. Nxaaa 😂
@@paulinezinyongo6016 i just used it as an example. I can also use the lawlessness of the Americans and Europeans it doesn't matter. For all have fallen short of the glory of God. He ie God to everyone in the past the Europeans also had the sme culture of burning their children and infants to the sun god for good rains and harvest. Most of our ancient cultures are intertwined and have some similarities. Thats why the bible is fire bcoz it applies to all man whether white or black green or blue it can be applied to our culture and our way of living
GOD created everything and everyone. Didn't He create satin, Pharoah, cane who killed his brother able. Is the clay be above the potter. Maybe just mabe an All powerful GOD loves us as a people so much that He punishes us for our disobedience. Yes the bible has been used for wrong purposes at times. But I always look back at how He actually used Pharoah to make an example of him. What if He's using the colonizers to make an example of them. And while I don't believe that their image of CHIRST is correct, I do believe He will be the final judge. My job is to have a relationship with the one and only true GOD. MY creator YAH . If we ask Him to reveal Himself to us, He will.
I’ve been saying for a while we are going Through a spiritual awakening as the planet and as africans, the truth is coming to light finally after so long, what a time to be alive!! Pure wisdom and gems as always from baba joshua maponga💎💎
I love our African religion philosophy because of 2 important things;1)Mwari/ Musikavanhu is often seen as distant but benevolent supreme being 2)Veneration of ancestors and spirits anchors epitomic understanding of the African religion.Mukanya elder Maponga vane chipo chavo he articulates these fundamentals in a satire philosophical manner that is thought provoking.Nhasi matigonera dai tazokwanisa kusvinura meso as a Contintent.
I used to frequently listen to Joshua Maponga on The Hustler’s Corner at Dj Sbu the man has some insightful words. I’m so glad to see him on a local podcast.🇿🇼 Thank you Denny J. Podcasts are the new Oral tradition for us Africans to communicate & pass on that history.
Maponga is and has always been ahead of his time. We are not ready for this men. Well done Denny, this is your best interview ever. You may never top this one ever again.
Ha ndadzidza sure, we have to emancipate ourselves from mental slavery. I have never asked myself why we celebrate our birthdays every 12 months iyo nhumbu iri 9 months. All the things he said made me question myself hmmm kudzidza hakuperi. This for me was the best pane dzese and u have done some pretty good ones. Well done Denny J and crew👏🏼👏🏼
He was just being strategic of course we understand the ills of the armed struggle and colonialism but him as an Africanist bashing opposition politics arguing that they have not done anything with the millions they get from their donors or government is justifiable but why cast a blind eye to what these revolutionary governments are killing the aspirations of the liberation struggle through rampant corruption, suffering, abuse of rights of that vortex of spirituality which he said is the women through incompetence from Zanu PF currently and he chooses to shed tears so as to avoid the hard questions as to his preference of Zanu PF of course it's his right but he must enlight us why he chooses to keep quiet to the injustice and rather compliment the few infrastructure development they doing regardless being in Government from 1980.
If we learn from him and practice, it will be his achievement, but our win. We are lucky to have people like him today, willing to tell us the uncomfortable truths.
❤if you notice the Elder's keep our identity for all its cost, because they were binded and scared of living thier family Young they know kunempimpi they keep secrets for us until now they do that from the graves that is why they keep people like mapongo to teach us more that we left behind
Another upload. Thank you. Maita basa VaDenny naMabokadzi Becky, Mkoma Nash and the team. Although you guys may be gone for weeks, it's always a pleasure to have you back. I'll end this with a classic bar from Becky in one of your episodes and I quote "we were about to call Fantan to come level the situation." 😂
I come from a province called South Africa and must say this podcast is one of the best if not THE podcast of this decade. I have gained so much from this account (not underming those i have consumed from him) and am proud of what Africa will produce if the likes of Maponga and Lumumba do persist in dishing these gems. When he related his personal story and shed tears, i was reminded of my own personal account from Soweto and what i see and have been made to learn from the area called Venda. Louis vettons have taken the Basotho blankets and are making millions.
A timeless piece, so informative especially on the girl child's much more equivocal role in society..Will treasure it for many years of my life..Should be premiered for all to listen and understand the angle of putting Mother Africa first before our own self interests....Religion still makes up 100% of my lineage and how I still look at life and that is not a bad thing at all....This was just a great way of questioning and poking stuff at different ways of just saying look VIVA AFRICA VIVA AFRICA....May our sovereignty rule for generations to come and may our beliefs take precedence, be passed on to the young bloods, nurtured and hopefully find a way to accommodate other ways of life we inherited from being in an open global community....
Being a follower and a fan of both sides denny and maponga . It is the best thing to see you combined with such a magnificent team to learn and grow from his teachings …. Maponga I respect your dedication to decolonization
Maponga is a hub of knowledge, his interpretation of information is at another level, and most of the people are not ready because of religious fanaticism, we thank the God that created Africans for a great man he made in Yeshua Maponga
Elder Maponga is library as a generation we are so blessed to have you, Shadhaya in this generation too not forgotten Denny J to give us show like these for free. Its a blessing to have you guys keep it up 👏👏👏👏
The best interview on social media he's very enlightening and i can appreciate his perspective that provides me with a open minded outlook on his perspective.
Denny was not ready for Mukanya. VaMaponga is a fountain of knowledge.. His alternative views make you THINK and that's a good starting point. As Africans we need to think
Crocodile tears, he criticised ZanuPf while in SA and now he is their praise singer. Zimbabweans Ndebele’s are treated as second and third class citizens in their country. Maponga is a fake.😂😂😂😂😂
Mr Maponga, I applaud you. The strength, the resilience, the sincerity, the emotions, the truth and intellect that comes with you. Isithunywa sakho was on very high vibration, siyabonga 🙏
This gentleman speaks sense. I hope pple will understand you more Dr Maponga and I pray we can have more educational elders like you . I am proud of you Mdara. Sando Dzako🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼
Billy carson na Terrence Howard use ma big words which do not mean anything. They pry on the fact kut hamumboite your own research. Recently TH theories where dismantled on the joe rogan pod 😂
Didn’t mention TH about his theories its another story. Billy Carson gave you receipts in everything. You have to research on your own like i do. Information is there out there.
@@onewordmusic2977 Carson lied almost about everything he said about the bible. He claims that Jesus had a wife based on a gnostic source which all credible historian will tell you its a forgery. The popyrus (sp) that says this only says "...my wife". Harvad retracted that claim wen they discovered it was a forgery. He also claims that the bible has been changed, that Jesus wasn't crucified. That is a lie, he gives the gospel of Barnabas as his source. If you bothered to do any research on Jesus, the crucifixion is the most established fact in history, even according to atheist scholars (bart erman etc). The gospel of Barnabas was written btwn 1300-1500ad thats thousand of years after the event. Why wld we believe that source when we have 1st century sources even from jews who hated Christian ps e.g Josepus. Note that he said the gospel not the epistle which wld make more sense since it was found with the sanai bible (but, that wldnt make any sense too since the bible contains accounts of the crucifixion). Another claim he made was about the ark of the covenant. He said it had so much radiation that the priest had to wear protective clothing to approach it. 😂😂😂😂 if u have read the torah u wld immediately know that this is false. He got this claim from a movie(indian jones ,the raisers of the lost ark)😂 He also said something about Jesus saying owner your slave master during the pat bev podcast. I don't even know which bible he reads bcoz in the bible we have for the past 2k years there is no passage like that. On that same pod he said God is a mistranslation of gods in the bible. (He claims to be a hebrew scholar btw.) Elohim can both be used as plural and singular since it is a concretized abstract plural like sheep can be used for one sheep or multiple sheep. To check if Elohim is single or plural u can simply just check the context the word it is being used in. These are just the few lies he has spoken which are wrong if he is enlightened as he says
@@petermunyaradzimuzarewetu8089 as long you think that the torah contains the truth then you need more receipts. You will find out the Elohim are not the Creator of universe. If you research more the information is there. Im not saying Billy is always right or wrong but he is doing his works for you to identify yourself rather than manipulated by the religion and i take whats necessary for me to tune to my frequency. About slave master etc you can go back again on the podcast he was saying it was edited to suit the powerful ones on earth.
I'm with him 💯 on recognizing our problems as an African people esp colonisation thru Christian religion bt I argue with his perspective on the solution
How bless we r as Africa the Continent to have isibani inqolobane yolwazi ekhulula umuntu onsundu on mental slavery...wake up my people long live baba Maponga may our African God protect u
Kkk the mbira track was so much soothing when Denny says hands of applause. I found my self clapping even though on watching on screen and not in the audience. Nice show Danny
2 hours of pure knowledge that we need to hear in such a time as this. If God orders the muzungu to mistreat black people he didn't create them 😢😢that hit deeeepp
One of the great podcasts 👏...Maponga is a legend for sure i learn a lot from him .. him Mono and Shadhaya are great wish 1 day you put them together on a same show .....thank you
I am proud to be PanAfrican, this great man here just reassures it. And does anyone noticed the swagg and the jewelries. that ring and bracelet is fire.
Wat a gud show denny well done but I was thinking or waiting for shaddaya talk more .but thnx vry much Elder chibabababa ❤ more love gud show. 👍 I'm dj tony from 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧
I'm watching this channel cz of J. Maponga otherwise I new there was nothing in the sense of critical talk i wasn't expecting the presenter to ask him critical questions but he is going to say it anyway....
This conversation is beyond the audiences and the interviewer. Mappings is in another dimension. No one dared to ask one sensible question even the slim guy in a suit shrugged.
Denny was not remotely prepared for such a deep conversation. I would suggest Soko Mrehwa please redo this interview and be more prepared wangu. It's a missed opportunity to interrogate and understand better our culture politics and religion.
Greetings & Grand rising king MJ. Great to be in ur presence. Change is inevitable, watching from the carrebian islands 🇰🇳🇰🇳🇬🇭🇬🇭.nemetoka visiwa vya carrebian St Kitts & Nevis.
The answer he gave on whether he practices african rituals or not went over Denny’s head 🤣 Im so glad though that baba Maponga is finally on zims mainstream mediums. He is special!
Mr DJ ,Maponga is not alone in this quest to decolonise our children's mind. And my ooh my its catching on.I myself have managed to decolonise family and we are free from this biblical nonsense. Pamberi mebasa rekuchenura Africa
Much respect for deep revelations. Pazanu chete apo. We are where we are as a nation because of zanu. All the misery nekuita nherera across the world. 😢
@@ZimLionheart I heard him clearly Cde. My only problem is that he seem to see the grave ills by colonial system yet not fast forwarding to where we are and repression under the so called black brother liberators. Evaluation of the loss he went through must be benchmarked by the current settings. That's all.
