What a lot of visitors don't realise is that many temples were built quite recently, as Westerners anyway are used to churches that are hundreds of years old. There's a stunning Chinese style temple in Bangsaen, with many fabulous objects inside - yet it's modern. So whenever I see temples and holy sites like in your videos, I wonder how old they are!
