You are spot on Technifibre Tfight RS 305. I purchased RS 315 because I like heavier racquets, it plays like Pro Staff but better and easier in every shot, very underrated racquet. Solid feel and quite easy to hit volleys at the net as I won several double matches without any problems. The only downside is I developed tennis elbow for the first time so softer strings will help, still love the racquet after 2 USTA seasons
I really enjoy the Elevate V3 to the point I have 4 of them. I string them with Diadem Solstice Black 16L on the mains and Prince Tour XP 16 on the crosses both strung at 48lbs. I can understand why some people don't like it because it doesn't give you anything for free. I like to play the baseline and hit the ball deep and with the V3 I can keep the ball in a lot more vs the Blade V8. The other two racquets I enjoyed this year was the Head Gravity Tour Graphene 360+ and Diadem's Nova 100 V2 with some lead in the hoop. Both with the same strings and tension as the Elevate V3.
I've been using Grapplesnake Tour Sniper in my Tfight. I really like it, it comes with a pre stretch so the tension maintenance is really good. I'm also a big fan of Ytex QuadroTwist because of its spin and comfort. Generally I'm having them strung at 52/53 lbs
@@returntotennis706 Ytex one is a soft poly with high spin potential. It’s a good string. It loses tension fast though. I’m not familiar with the Grapplesnake.
I was a walk on to Ohio state university tennis team in 1983 with coach john daly and top players were Roger smith and mike massie. I’m a buckeye forever. Where do you play now in Columbus?
A walk on at OSU! That couldn't have been easy, I'm sure had the skills to back it up. I spend most of my time trying to fix my strokes over at Elysium in Plain City. But when the weather's nice I'm outside most of the time wherever I can find an empty court.
@@returntotennis706 cool! I left after my freshman year because nick bollettieri saw me hit my forehand and offered me a full ride scholarship to his academy in Florida. I went there and unfortunately I chose to quit tennis that year…until last year! I’m back and actually just played some pro ITF Futures tournaments. Love Columbus and glad to see Ty Tucker has made champions out of his team there! Go Bucks! Ps: Amy grossman was a young kid at nicks then too and some other guy too if I remember correctly.
Dude you are not supposed to string these old school iconic frames with monofilament like ALU or Tour Bite. They are super controled because players used to play with naural gut back in the day...
@@MarioGomez-kj5bc They are basics rules to follow if you want to play he best with what you got. The Boris Becker's Puma racquet was disigned in the 80s when players where using natural gut, it is designed to play the best with natural gut, if you put a super stiff ultra controled oriented string like monofilament wich appeard in the 90s on it, you are going to lack power and eventually heart yourself... just common sense you know?
kind of harsh. But to improve, it is important to fix your equipment to eliminate variables. Same racquet, string which maintains tension, and importantly no pain/aggravation afterwards. Now when you have made an improvement or learned a new skill, maybe you go back to see if you can serve better w/ a Yonex or perhaps now a previous frame that lacked power is a better fit...
