About the rat problem. I had mice in my house a while ago. They didn't want to bite at all. I had tried everything. Until we started cleaning the house meticulously. That was the game changer. With the house spotless and all the food locked up the mice finally fell for it.

Travel: you can also buy little empty flacons and bottles and fill them with your own products. This will save a lot of plastic waste from the travel-sized shampoo etc.

Hi mommy, If you don't like tying shoes buy elastic laces. on Amazon they carry Lock Laces, it was the biggest game charger. they carry so many colors and they are only $8.

The water bill thing is highly dependent on the city you live in. We sold our house and moved a city over and out water bill went from 200 to 30 just because of the ridiculous private owned water company

It takes a minute or two tops, just grab your outfit prior to the shower. Place it on your bed so when you’re completely dried off you can go sit on your bed and get ready. Everything is there; socks, pants, shirt, and any accessories. I have a routine and stay seated while putting on pants and socks, it’s a GAME CHANGER!! Never fall again and it’s way quicker. Plus, you already know what you’re going to wear before your shower, so it’s a no brainer!!!

Amazon also has refillable travel bottles for your shampoo or soaps you need. The best thing I keep in my suit case ready to go and refill them whenever I run out.

We never turned on the A/C when I was a kid. Once I married I never turned it on until my husband got home from working in palm desert in 118° heat. He was like $100 is nothing. Well when my parents sold my childhood home the damn A/C worked. I felt betrayed that we never used neither the A/C or heater but yet again here I am 34 and still kicking even without A/C or heat. My kids don't know how it is without it!! I tell them all the time how poor and on a budget we were as kids. Keep em' high and tight.

My one year old eats dog food also. I try to stop her and waiting for a baby gate to come in. I looked it up it isn't meant to be a meal but it won't hurt the child. My child is low in iron so it is a little beneficial to her being it has protein in it. At least that is what I chalk it up to.

Not gonna lie...my mom totally bought easy feet for my brothers and I one summer and boy did it work! The blackened and dirt covered bottoms of our feet were brand new after a quick scrub with the easy feet. Would definitely recommend if you have reckless and shoeless young children running around in the yard for hours.

I'm my mom's favorite; we can't count on my sister for anything, a lying drug addict, you get the picture.... We still love her but yea..... I should explain that it's not just that, she's been in trouble with authorities since she started stealing shit around 5, stoll the family truck around 12 with me as an infant along for the ride, gang shit as a teen, has been to prison for drug manufacturing, and the list goes on. 42 and still won't get it together because sober life is boring apparently...

I used to buy a couple parking passes that would be good for a whole day, scan them and use photoshop to make my own passes. This was back in the early 00's. I don't think you can do this anymore with the new systems they use. Paid parking is a complete rip off.
