One thing I've grown to appreciate is just how well women treat themselves. Like I had this moment with an ex and my sister. Just talking about their issues...what great luxuries women extend themselves compared to men who are often just surviving and thats the better off ones. I saw this because I loved the line where bhan says 'why can't men be a bitch off their own accord'😅😅😅😅 why compare with a girl and the issue here is they heard a song and in it the connotation was that women are the reference when acting like a bitch...okay i suppose thats fair enough when you see your identity as a woman first n foremost...men maybe are more about their land, religion, varn,...territory that they naturally want to protect and for women...i dont where those things are but it seems...for women...theyre first n foremost women...then anything else...that doesnt seem right tho...anyway...more with time...
Being able to communicate isn’t a luxury it’s a coping mechanism. The patriarchy deals a raw hand either way you look. If you’re the single bread winner you ofc have the weight of running a house but you also have the financial security to be a decision maker. Therapy is great if you can afford it. Counselling is free at several centres. If not then a hunt for a companion who makes you feel seen and bounce ideas back and forth with (not limited to a romantic companion). It could be a family member, a friend, a teacher, a senior at work, your barber even. Can’t offload mens lack of communication on the rest of the world. Everyone’s doing their bit to break their generational curse. Even aspiring models from south Delhi.
