Looking forward to seeing your adventure! I was also on Hanoi the same days as you, but just randomly found your video today. Biking in Hanoi was a ton of fun! I had a rental bike with no brakes or working gears, but it added to the adrenaline rush of biking with the chaos 😆. Safe travels
@lieslhammer5889 Thank you and likewise. Where are you guys now? I'm in Dong Ha. The episode when we met is episode 11. Today's episode EP 9. So in one to two weeks that will be released☀️
Just in case you decide to extend your journey beyond Malaysia, I thought I would tell you that there is a company called Indomal Fast Ferry that operates ferries between Malaysia and Sumatra in Indonesia. You can leave from the town of Port Dickson, which is just outside of Kuala Lumpur. The ferries from PD go to either Tanjung Balai (near Medan) or to the city of Dumai. They also run ferries from Malacca to Dumai. I mention this only because it's possible to bring a bicycle onto these boats. And you don't have to take it apart or put it in a box or do anything like that. They just roll your bicycle onto the boat and then roll it off at the other side. It's quite convenient and a good way for a cyclist to get to Sumatra. It's much easier than flying. And if you are in Malaysia, you are already so close to Sumatra. It might be a good idea just to hop over by boat and check out the place. 😀
Thank you so much for your advice🤗 I will do that next year. Because then I will start in Bali and travel towards Thailand through Singapore and Malaysia
