I'm learning that it's okay to frog projects I'm not happy with! So I'm frogging my weekender II and have already frogged my vertices unite. But that's not the last you'll see of these!
I'm joining the Chelsea Makes Brioche Bonanza! I'll be finishing my Ronan cardigan and casting on a Marley shawl, both by Andrea Mowry. More on those next week!
Lots of yarn is in the Stress Knits shop! Including Hanukkah celebrations and a few more Advent Calendars. So go grab one if you're interested! They're going fast!
Sept. 1 will be my Halloween update. I use that term loosely because my only spooky colorways are my My Favorite Murder colorways. So that's what will be going up then!

This is the best sweater/jumper you have shown and are wearing. I would love to knit it myself. Love it. This is the style that suits you best not the fingering weight yarn garments.

I love your Stone Crop, it's gorgeous! I was wondering, do your sample knits sometimes double as personal knits? I was curious (after hearing you talk about the sizing of the No Frills) why you haven't chosen a different sweater as a sample to showcase your mohair base.

Thank you so much! That's a great question! When I knit with my yarn. I do it with the intention of them being for myself, they sometimes double as a sample, or I'll photograph them to show them off. The reason I want to make another no frill sweater, even with the sizing downfalls, is that I really want 2 projects knit with my 2 different fuzzy bases to show the difference in the same project. Plus I'm not casting on until my first is done, and since this yarn is super special to me I'll know if I need to make any tweaks to pattern so that it will fit as best as it can. There are so many amazing patterns that feature mohair yarn that I love, but don't fit into my everyday wardrobe, so I'll have some knitters who are interested sample knit those for me so I can use them to showcase my yarn!
