Wow! Watching you work is amazing. Love your creativity. I have lots of small pieces from making stained glass panels. You've motivated me to give mosaics a try. Thank you for sharing your skills. New Subscriber!
Adding the beads and frit balls add a whole other dimension to the work, I love it and I love that blue piece for the sky! I guess if I had watched the whole video before asking you about the table, I might have answered one or more of my own questions. ha ha I started following you on Instagram as well. Watching your videos is getting addicting. :)
Impresionante esos girasole!!!! Me quedo sin palabras cada vez que te veo trabajar tan detallada y delicadamente!!! Te felicito realmente!!! Sigue asi!!! 👍👌👏👏👏🤗❤❤❤
The sunflowers are gorgeous, adding the beads was brilliant!! I am learning so much, thank you for sharing the thought process that goes into your work! It’s no wonder all your pieces are so beautiful as they reflect not only your talent but also your attention to detail! Painting the glass was a great and useful idea! Your videos bring me such joy and I know it’s a lot of work so I hope they are fulfilling for you as well😍 Have an awesome week!

Oh my goodness! The sunflowers are magnificent! Love the colors! Thanks for letting us know we can paint the back of the glass, good to know. Really enjoyed the video! 😁♥️
Hi Julie, I love these sunflowers! Could you please tell me where you purchased your reference photo? I would like to make this too! Thank you for all of the great information you provide. Jill
I have that very clear yellow for a sunflower project and wondering if I could use it as too clear. Hadn't occurred to me to paint it. Brilliant thank you. 🌻
It's really nice to see you do a mosaic with tessera again, it's been a while. I love your bead projects, but I've missed the basic mosaic art. So many new materials and ideas these days, it's nice to just relax and enjoy an almost beadless design.
Mondays come slow it feels - but finally it's here. 🌻 coming up beautifully. The blue chosen by you for the sky looks promising. Looking forward to the monarch and other flower to be completed by next Monday so here's to another week of waiting. 🙂
Your mosaics are soooo Gorgeous!! Breathtaking-great Job!! I love watching your videos. I have attempted a few of my own-learning from you. Rustoleum paint - who knew- great idea😄
Thanks a bunch. Do you have a video showing the very start of your project? What substrate you are using, how you got the image on the substrate, etc…. I love what you are doing! Kathie from Mexico 🐢
Absolutely stunning. I am a beginner and was wondering if you could share where you get your beautiful glass. Thanks for the amazing and inspirational videos
Yes of course! I first purchased a whole mosaic studio from an artist who was finished. Then I worked at a glass shop for a year and a half. Now I try to buy from local shops in person. I also buy from Wits End, Delphi Glass, Maryland Mosaics, Kismet, Bonin Glass Designs, Mosaics by Maria, SW Art Glass and Hollander. I probably forgot some. Plus I get donations!
Wow, they are coming along wonderfully! I have not made any progress on my sunflower, ran out of beads. Question, have you ever used silicon or Lexel to attach beads? Mine is an outdoor piece. glass on glass and a lot of transparent beads and glass?
Just now beginning to mosaic and just now found your videos. Basic question-did you glue down the feather glass as you went? I see E6000 for beads as you go, but don't see you glue the glass
@@mazzonimosaics8222 thank you! Your work excited me. I am an artist and I’ve always loved mosaic work. Been dabbling in broken glass work. Don’t know where I’ll end up but thanks for your quick response. Do you have any videos on basic tools and supplies, etc?
Julie, I am about to mosaic a table top with mostly glass, what would you suggest I use for the adhesive? The top used to have wood veneer on it, but it has peeled off to raw wood. I have been using Mapei Tile Adhesive in my garden window base and the back splash above my stove. Do you think that would be ok or should I try something different? I would really value your suggestion. Thank you!
Make sure you seal that raw wood with primer or 50/50 Weldbond/water and use whatever you are most comfortable with. I like Weldbond for interior projects because it is non-toxic, readily available and easy to use. If you like the Mapei, use that!
do you use tile adhesive? I am from Ukraine, I really like your work. I want to do something similar on the table. doing this for the first time. I already have a countertop, but I don’t quite understand what to attach the glass to?
I am using Weldbond PVA adhesive because this is a piece of wall art not subject to wet conditions. I have never done a countertop, but you need a solid substrate and tile adhesive that will hold up to the conditions you subject it to.
I try to buy them in person because I think the big online suppliers like Shipwreck Beads to be overwhelming. I made a video here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bCkbOCWIHT0.htmlsi=UPBoLzex6rDRUFiK
