Mike, what is the purpose of the tie in where you wrap the shank as a V? Every other tie in up the hook is the same, but there is one in the middle as you transition to the "head" that was different.
Beautiful little baitfish. I can't stop myself from adding one red strand to the second last bottom head clump to simulate gills. Most likely doesn't help and might actually make it worse.
This pattern in 1/0 tan back using an intermediate line on 10 wt caught me: 5 lb mutton snappers, a 10 lb baby tarpon (lost a much bigger one) and a 25 lb barracuda. Simply awesome.
