The "Melodies of India" project as envisioned by Raunaq is an expedition that aims to capture the heart and spirit of India, transcending its deep-rooted cultures into a visually captivating series of photographs and videos, each narrating a unique facet of our incredible nation. These photographs and videos will serve as visual testimonies, encapsulating the diversity, traditions, and modernisation of India.
He will later publish 11 photographs along with the moving stories in a Photobook.

Bihar was the centre of Knowledge and was most civilized still after the Mughals, it was the prime spot for revolution in 17th century India. Bihar was the prime threat to the British, so in just 100 years they turned the most civilized and rich Indian state into the most uncivilized and poor. Although after independence Bihar should have gotten better, it didn't get its place back because after the death of Gandhi Ji no big Indian leader was interested in the development of Bihar or giving it equal rights. As the launch of the "Equal Freight Policy" in 1956 caused all of the Industries in Bihar to plummet to ground as it made Bihar rather a pity raw material provider, and also The Land Redistribution policy didn't work properly in Bihar causing even more damage to Bihar and Bihari's economic condition. The effect of these still continues as Bihar have either depleted its natural resource or most of them just went to Jharkhand in 2000. Now even if Bihar wants to invest money in development it can't as it doesn't have the money. But still, the development Bihar has done with so little resources is just phenomenal. I can do hours-long debates/speeches on these topics, but yeah this is the sad reality with Bihar it became so strong it began to be a problem to others, who came together to shatter Bihar to the ground. This is a cycle of life... Bihar was the peak of Knowledge and Civilisation... and just in 200 years collapsed so much that even surviving is difficult...thus, losing all secondary characteristics that constitutes the culture of place. Again, it will rise on the shoulders of hardworking people who don't give up even if they don't have facilities and world class infrastructure. MONEY CAN BE EARNED AGAIN, BUT THE CHARCTER AND HARDWORKING SPIRIT IS INBUILT BY BIRTH. Just give some time to sort out a few hurdles.😊

Everytime when i listen about its story, I always wish ki kaash us time mai wapas jaa sakta, when Bharatvarsh had the ultimate Knowledge and wisdom, Preserved in manuscripts. Khilji burning Nalanda down and Macaulay's education system were and are the 2 Major wounds that Bharat is still suffering with, in my opinion..... Bihar has the highest poverty rate because of Britishers who implemented mandatory taxation at that time because of that jamindari system came to picture and holding of land got concentrated with some particular caste.at the time of world war everybody knows about Bengal femine it was also one of the reason and then india got independence and it was the year 1951 when Nehru government brought some policies which hurted Bihar the most some may argue there was always dirty politics and on the basis of caste but i don't agree on that because i have lived outside of of bihar since childhood and beleive me the castism is everywhere now I'm pursuing law from IP University delhi and trust me castism here is at peak.

At 0:46 The hoarding of a School in the background is the one where I studied from KG to 10th living in its residential complex and that is also closer to #Bodh_GAYA . I was there in the Hostel when the Bodh GAYA bombing incident happened. I remember , my parents taking me to visit Bodh Gaya whenever they came to meet me there in the hostel. Some of my friends staying in the hostel used to run away from the hostel and visit #Bodhgaya without even taking the permission.

As a minor living in Bihar the thumbnail made me offended and I lost my respect to u ik Bihar isn't clean as other states but still u shouldn't put that type of thumbnail like the background dude... and it is only because of the over-population in Bihar I hate poor people (in Bihar) cuz they literally give births to 6-7 child and CAN'T take care of them and I think they should not give free stuff like in 5:25 cuz only poor people who are don't even buddhist go to get free stuff see I am NOT saying that don't give free stuff but this thing MADE THEM DO NOTHING expect for begging cuz they r getting free rice and oil that's what u need to live and water is free everywhere so personally I think the over-population and people who r can't even sent their child(ren) to school and don't even give them enough food and giving free food it the WORST thing u can do cuz directly or indirectly the poor people get free food so they don't need to work except to BEGGING Hi! Once again this whole paragraph was written by a 11 yrs old so don't criticize me unless I am wrong anywhere.......Thanks :)
