Steff and I enter the RallyMoto Ice Breaker challenge. A series of roadboock events around the UK. The days are short, the temperatures are freezing but the fun is awesome.
I’m currently in Wales where yesterday was an eventful day attempting the Welsh stage again 😆 Hopefully I’ll be able to edit it and get it out before we set off on our first travels of the year in a few weeks
Great Vid as always folks 😊Small request if possible, would like to know more about your Nav system if at all possible in the future. Ride safe you Two 👍😜
Cheers! I think there’s a video on the channel with the adventure bike set up. If memory serves we go into the nav system in the video. If you’ve got any other questions no worries just drop us a comment 😊
Amazing there was a shop so close in what seemed like a very rural area, and that you made it rolling on trashed bearing, plus they had the bearings in stock. Can't complain too much about that! Fortunately easy to change on the Honda. Hey I dig the tube neck scarves you are wearing. I do believe I have the same one! Thanks for the video. USA. Peace!
Hi and thanks for the comment. I know, we couldn’t believe our luck! We felt the same way. We were really bummed that the day was cut short but couldn’t believe our good luck getting it sorted!
We’ve got an apology! We re-watched the video while we were editing something else and realised we didn’t use the homemade stand to lift the bike this time. It’s actually a new trail stand we were trialing. It’s from a company called “Eastbound”. A quick google will find them 👍🏼
That way of mounting the bike , is odd ? Itchy boots does it also . Do you feel it’s easier than standing on one peg first then hoisting the other leg over ? Do you mount the way you do because of bags on the seat ? Enjoyed the video.
Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for the comment 😊 I used to mount my KTM the way you described and had a side stand failure. I’m sure it was unrelated but I’ve now got into the habit of not standing on the peg with the stand down. I think you’re probably right, it might be the bags that cause the funny looking mount 😂
Hi love watching your videos. I've recently bought a crf300 rally and joined south Wales trf. Any chance you could do a video on your Samsung s3, the ram mount and what apps you use to navigate and maybe how to use the apps. 👍
Hi Lee, thanks for the comment. If you go to the channel you’ll see a video “CRF300 Adventure travel set up”. I think we show the tablet and the app we use to navigate. Hopefully that will help. If not just drop us a comment and we’ll try and help
Great adventure, what a start into the new day with a cuppa coffee watching your latest episode. Those deep ruts are indeed brilliant to ride and remind me of TET Wales last autumn. How difficult is riding a roadbook? Never tried that. Salisbury Plain is wonderful, did that in the scorching heat of summer 2022 when the UK looked like Andalucia. Maybe again in 2024 or 2025. Can't understand why my fellow countrymen are so shy of riding in England. It's definitely worth it, even in the middle of winter ;-) Have a great weekend, Günter/Nürnberg
Thanks Günter, have a fantastic weekend! Roadbooks are pretty easy to read at a recreational level (rather than a racing level!) they are a lot of fun and like all these things they look a little complicated but are actually fairly simple 😊
@@wanderinghonda7963Gotta try it out one day. But first making sure the new 21 Brothers bags work perfectly on the Beta Alp today. And next time I'm using some new software (Osmand) for a change. Have a great weekend, Steph&Si, Günter
First year doing the IBC's for me, 6 in so far, and two more planned for next weekend. Did 2 of the c2c2c routes back to back in the same day in the blizzards last week, brilliant fun, if a tad sketchy because we finished in the dark 👍ride safe guys
lol although the feeling was quite bad. It was the horrific noises that had me worried Mark I had visions of the back end, just suddenly disintegrating and throwing me off.
It’s just a super cheap walking pole that I hacksawed to a convenient length. There’s a video with what we take when we’re travelling and I think we mention it on there as well For a pricier but extremely good option “eastbound” do one
