Awesome, the 'greener/ more overgrown' parts look a lot like some of the trails around me at the moment. 👍 Really got to get down to the Pyrenees on my CRF sometime.

Wow, where do you live? That sounds like a lot of fun! I’d definitely recommend Pyrenees - I’d go back again 😂

That looks very tough going but rewarding with the views etc, good job!

Yes, some parts of the TET in Pyrenees were a lot harder than I expected. I’ve heard from people that it’s all gravel and you could do that on the GS1200 - I don’t think I’d be comfortable taking the heavy bike like this on some of these knurly trails. Anyway, thank you for watching!

This was excellent! Well done gents! Johannes did well on that huge T700, but the CRF is the bike for this - Off to watch PT2 now!

Thank you, appreciate the comment 😁. Yes, despite all my UK friends having mid-weight ADV bikes, I’ve never felt that my CRF250L is inadequate and I need a bigger bike. If anything, I’m now thinking if I can get even lighter bike - something like adventureised KTM 500 EXC - short of 110kg dry sounds very appealing 😂 Do you still ride the CRF250 Rally?

@@Shem cheers! No 250 now, me thinking 450 EXC 😬 same boat! Hope you’ve recovered 👍

@@Motoeuro Haha, brilliant! You’ll probably get yours before I get mine, so I’ll be checking your channel. Thanks, I’ve still got a month in the cast and then at least another month of rehab to be able to walk, but I cannot wait to go riding now 😁

Where did you get the black plastics for your bike? Love your content :)
@Shem

Thanks. The black plastics are stock, Honda sold this bike in the UK in two colourways - Red and Black.

Hey, which app do you use to naigate?
@Shem
@Shem Год назад
Hey. I use “OsmAnd Maps”. The interface is a little clunky but you get used to it. But for a one-off fee you can purchase World maps and download them onto your phone. So even if you don’t have reception (I.e. Internet), you can continue to navigate.

With an exception of getting to France, I've been following the Trans Euro Trail (TET). You can download the GPX files for different countries here: transeurotrail.org/
