The male lead is very frustrating. He should not talk about having a girlfriend when he has been around another one for so long everyday, and ignores the one he supposedly loves.

When the reporter was abducted he was right there. It was easy with Uncle Duan. He was just sent home for a vacation and he did as he was told. It's not the same way with the girl. Thank you! Other commentors on other sites are blaming the female lead, and I am thinking, he is putting himself in compromising positions, and saying it is to protect her. He should tell her what is going on, and let her decide. I would have been done with him, even if it was to protect her.
this is why when your in a relationship both parties need to communicate well, have trust, and protect each other regardless what the outcome is, if you dearly love each other then why hide it if theres danger around, how the heck does the other person suppose to know and if all goes to hell and that, one of you got injured, does that mean you want the other person to feel bad for you, because of your stupid decisions

Parfois les hommes sont incompréhensibles il ne faut pas chercher Xu Lu a un visage pâle comme un fantôme. Mauvaise éducation de mettre face à face ses deux femmes. Fanlu de même son père lui passe tout se croit la plus belle, tout le monde lui doit tout. Heureusement que ce n est pas parce que l on est proche dans l enfance que l on doit se marier un peu de fraîcheur et changeons d air, riche ou pas riche.

Like she says later in the series, "I want to help you", but he chose another women to help him, and I do not blame the female lead for being hurt and upset. Also, this is not the first time something involving another women has happened. I feel like a lot of times he puts her second and third. I do understand he was trying to protect her, but he could have done that with involving another women. I have nothing against the women he involved, she was going along with his plan.
