Our first overnight passage in the Mediterranean. We covered 200nm over two nights and three days from Montenegro to Corfu, Greece. Although we have been cruising in Adriatic for the last 18 months, we have never done an overnight passage. We were pretty nervous about this passage because we planned to spend not only one but two nights at sea. We kept 3 hours on and 3 hours off watch and witnessed quite a bit of cruise ship and Albanian fishing boat traffic during the day and throughout the night. We put our radar and fishing gear in use for the first time.
The passage was quite an experience so was the old town of Corfu. Corfu is our first stop and entry point to Greece. The bureaucracy around getting our transit log and paperwork in order was an ordeal, but we were rewarded by Greece's most charming and elegant island capital. We spent 2 nights at marina Gouvia before we sailed up north to Kalami Bay, made famous by British novelist Lawrence Durell.
We quit our high-tech jobs in California to be liveaboards on a sailboat full-time in the Mediterranean. We just started our adventure of sailing around the world and experiencing life by living on a sailboat. In this sailing vlog 2021, we will share our experiences as a sailing couple on RU-vid who spends our first year sailing extensively throughout Croatia. We will document our experiences, costs, and travel discoveries throughout our sailing journey. Croatia offers some of the best sailings in the Adriatic and sailing in Europe.

I love the fact that there was absolutely no grief when the tuna got away! That shows who you really are. Now I'm a firm subscriber. (Yeah, I know you have to catch some fish, but now I know who you are!) Lovely soundtrack!

Hi, nice video. Is this almost real time? If yes, I hope you are prepared for winter conditions in the Aegean which can range from chilly and calm to cold and extremely windy to warmish and stormy... PS No it doesn't look like real time. It looks like late spring - early summer.

This was recorded in early summer.

Suggest you investigate changing your primary anchor. What you have will not hold you if things get rough. Suggest you watch Panope video No 100 on RU-vid to see why.

Thanks for the comment. I will take a look at the video you refer to. We have been planning on replacing our delta anchor with an ultra in Turkey. Evidently they are more reasonable in Turkey since they are made there

Have a look at Panope’s data on Ultras. They don’t rate well. There are better anchors for a lot less money. You can order via the German or UK on line chandleries and they will ship to Greece. Getting things shipped into Turkey is tricky - they hit you heavily with taxes and customs clearance fees.
