Ep21 | Storms & Lockdown - Which one is worse? 

Stuck ANOTHER week in L'Aber Wrac'h, France!
This week, not only because of storms off the coast in the North Sea, but also because of a second nation-wide lockdown in France!
I was seriously beginning to be worried that we'd have to spend Christmas in the cold north. :(
This was NOT what we imagined as we headed off from Norway.
Learning the hard way that things don't tend to go as planned, especially when dependent on the wind & waves...but, now - as everyone else - because of the unforeseen consequences of the pandemic.
How would this develop and what would it mean for our sail plans for southern shores?
As of October 28th, it is FORBIDDEN to sail -- not just for the very active yacht club here at the marina, but also for all pleasure crafts no matter what the destination or intention.
Can we figure out a way to bend the rules & get out of here? And, even if we do -- will the weather allow us to escape?? Not much hope in sight.
