Here the occult practicioners are sacrificing black dogs, I know because a ritual site was found in a location were "dogmen" were also noticed. I spoke to a lady who's seen an apparition of a black's dog body that was missing the head and limbs. I am guessing it was the ghost of a sacrificed canine. What if the dogman is the product of a sorcerer that merges somehow with the head and limbs of a dead dog... Maybe that's why there's the smell of decay and sometimes the aspect of it ?

I've heard one account and I don't remember where. But that it was these creatures that are like this all the time that taught natives how to do this. And I belive the tale goes that when the creator was making man out of clay coyote was jealous and while the clay was soft before it was baked he changed some of the figures to look more like him. I belive when the creator saw them after they were done and had life he banished them. Don't take what I say as gospel this may be seprate stories from two different sources or the same story.
