Interesting and exceptionally fascinating episode. The thing about the spiders really hit home. That episode of the "night gallery" television series aways terrified me. Where they keep trying to wash the spider down the sink drain, and it keeps coming back bigger and bigger.

Great show, the other part that stuck out. I had a friend drown. He and I were in good shape,similar body size. He was treading water, turned around and waved at his family then went under and didn't resurface. Found a few miles down river.

I dont want to be a pig here, but i know (heard of) three instances of bigfoot brought low by gunfire. One instance, couple of guys night predator hunting in Texas, wounded with 243 rifle and one guy goes into the weeds and finishes it off, two shots from close range, his 44 magnum Ruger Blackhawk. No details where it was struck. 1976 or 1977? North Texas? Second instance 1961 Minnisota Iceman and the USAF pilot on hunting trip stumbles across two bigfoot, near Duluth while deer hunting. Attacks him and initially, he wounds it, his Mauser 8mm rifle. He blacked out. But his second shot he cannot recall hits it its outstretched arm, held up defensive manner, bullet penetrates arm to strike its eye and this second shot killed it. Now Colonel Daniel Boone and his son, in two man party, initially tracking native horse thieves. But the thieves joined a larger party and they thought better of it. Returning home the 2 decide to split up to deer hunt, a productive area. Boone soon hears his son shoot, quickly followd by 2nd shot. Muzzleloading rifle, the second shot, dry ball. Boone goes to his sons location and in horror sees his son being held up by a male bigfoot, who is slamming his son into the ground. Boone positions himself for a better shot and lets fly at his sons attacker. Killing it forthwith with his 44-45 caliber muzzleloading long rifle. He revives his son after hectic efforts. Boone field autopsies the bigfoot and discovers his sons shots struck at its heart area. But its chest cavity is reinforced by bone about 3/4 inch thick. No penetration hence no effect. Luckily enuf, his single shot, struck its eyeball. Seemingly enters its brain cavity(?) and killing it forthwith. 1840s(?) Kentucky(?) Its not often one hears about the lethal effects of gunfire upon the more violent attacking giants. Thought i would share, as it kind of fits with this nights dramatic yet totally fascinating subject. Be well

I'm not even halfway thru the show, Good guest! Lead Horse said what I've been trying to explain in such a great way. I believe, they feed on fear. It's a recurring theme I hear. I've never been as scared as when I heard 2yrs ago a tornado siren winding up long loud, wwWWooooOOOOP!!!!!

One of my friends was being followed by a squash in Sam Houston National forest. I text me the foot prints next to his foot and then he started to hear it following them and had to take off, luckily had had fire arm and had to do a tactical strike, firing several rounds. and it ran off. That camp trail was close to the Stubble field camp north west of Lake Conroe, Tx .I do not recommend anyone entering that national forest. See Dogman encounters 50. I believe. this man 100%.
