Big Up Trav and KG! KG is spot on with AJ its a lack of IQ and the ability to think for himself in the ring that causes major issues for him and at 35 wid multiple different trainers its not going to change so it does make sense to call it a day or have lesser level fights because his frailties will keep showing against the elite But thank God for AJ because he brought back boxing and I will forever appreciate what he has done for Boxing, Olympic Gold Medal 🥇 and 2x Unified champ 👊🏿
Put simply, we all know AJ doesn't need money. He can still become undisputed with just two more wins. There's no real reason why he wouldn't attempt it.
@LRministries1 nah turki won't allow a third fight because of the money and hype Saudi gets if AJ and Fury somehow miraculously fight for undisputed next year. The world would stop in its tracks.
Caroline Dubois got a fan in me. She came across as so real in that interview. The Dubois dad sounds crazy. Like cult crazy. The man was just popping out kids just to get one world heavyweight out of them.
Guys football and boxing ain't apples for apples, nobody is actually trying to render you unconscious with your football boots on (unless it's Ramos! 😂) getting out young, wealthy, and with all your marbles should viewed as the biggest win! and be worth more than any strap imho 🙏 anyway see you on Monday night smoke, stay bless
the person in Viddal's Podcast is Leon Wills who has worked with viddal and worked with other fighters with viddal, not Viddal Riley's dad lol He has been on his team in his corner since his pro debut
I hear you,Travis...If you get caught, everything goes out the window in heavyweight boxing... AJ simply underestimated Dubois. He got caught and couldn't recover. The rematch will be a different fight if he is focused. i dont know who wins, but it will be a different fight
@@albertbiachi3824 I said that before everyone was saying that it was a mismatch and ddd had no chance. Now I have seen them fight I am even more convinced that a rematch will produce the same outcomes.AJ needs to go another route as he ain’t beating fury, usyk or ddd
This was simple a classic case of (AJ) a man who thought his opponent wasnt really levels VS (Dubois) a man who's been waiting for this moment his entire pro career. Somewhat reminiscent of Froch v Groves 1. Even though Froch got the job done, I'm more refering to the mindset.
While i don't agree with KG that AJ should look at retirement. He's not saying they should have known how Dubois would've come out. iT'S more a case of how bad he looked in there, I didn't see anything positive to be taken away from that performance at all. I hate fury but we can't compare it because schwarz, wallin etc he's looked bad in those fights but he still pulled it out and won. Lennox you cant compare also because as KG said their path up to that fight they lost is completely different. AJ didn't understimate dubois he just struggled with that style and couldn't adapt, or even put his hands up lol
33:48 misinterpretation going on here Usyk said “ur a strong guy.” AJ replied “how did u beat me? Ur not strong, it’s because of skill.” He was making the point that in boxing, being skilful matters more than being strong He wasn’t confused, in fact, he knew exactly why Usyk beat him, because of SKILL.
KG WELL PLAYED. for talking the tings re: DDD's ringwalk. On your first reaction video all the listeners were talking about the initial 50 cent track. Not a single one of them paid the respect those dub and reggae rhythms deserved. Proper Black British moment at Wembley. Too spiritual. Femi should aspire to know himself in the same way. But that's a conversation for another pod.
Nah Trav.. every man and his dog knew and said Dubois must and will start fast. And im pretty sure you said that too?! And from starting fast he'll walk into Aj's shots, ect! Stop capping 😅😂 Talking about TOP LEVEL, not once did you put Dubois in that category. Get outta here bro 😂 You gave him no chance. You even put your name on it. Nasty work 😂 I stand with Kg on that, It seemed everyone except Aj (on the night) and now Trav knew how Dubois was going to come out. As an Aj supporter, I'm saying he 100% underestimated Dubois and got smoked. And I hate to say it, but I think he'll get smoked again.
Aj thought he was above warming up during the announcements. He’s playing a role. He has all the attributes but has not developed his own style at this age. Crisis.
If man isn’t boxing with a guard and defending head shots no more I agree, retire…..when AJ is slurring or takes one heavy shot to many What are the fans going to be doing for him. KG is fully making sense.. Anything else is ignorance.. AJ couldn’t even adjust mid fight.. kmt
its not that AJ lost. anyone can lose but it is the manner of the loss...IT WAS A BEATDOWN and i dont think AJ can mix it with top tier unless he's willing to step down a level
AJ's championship fights are done. He's at the back of the queue now. Therefore, he's got nothing to lose taking the rematch. Then take the Fury fight next, before it's too late.
And also DD low blowed AJ right in the 🥜 & he didn’t take the 5 minutes he could of had,his gloves (both off them) tougher the canvas & the ref just let DD keep swinging & the count did start from the dude out side the ring but when he noticed the count wasn’t getting played in he stopped, there was a lot of odd things that night but I’ll stand on my square & tell you AJ just had a real off night for what ever reason,DDD ain’t no real hard fighter to really prep for let’s keep it💯 AJ still rocked DDD & had him for the finish, that’s with being buzzed & not having your legs underneath you,DDD ain’t a hard fight to prep for he’s got a hard punch & that’s it plus he needs his daddy ringside
I somewhat disagree that AJ should retire. Even though i have no excuse for AJ, we can all agree that was the worst AJ. He can only do better in the rematch. We should wait and see how he performs in the rematch if it happens. The one positive we can take from AJ's performance is that he hurt Dubois with the one good punch he landed. So he has a chance in the rematch
I don't know why boxing is over complicated in this podcast. AJ shipped a bitch lick in the first round, which made him vulnerable for the rest of the fight. The fight with Dubois was always going to be determined by who landed first. Too much is being made of AJ's hands being down, especially by people who've probably never boxed a nano second in their lives.
@@1neydj150 Yes I stand by what I've said. Some experienced boxers lower their hands when they move out of striking distance and raise them when in striking distance...
AJ needs to rebuild but not against bums and ufc fighters or retire. He goes into this rematch immediately, Dubois will have too much momentum and confidence and it will be over before the fifth round
He doesn't deserve it, but i don't want to see him go out like that. A fight with Wilder or Miller would be good. So AJs team was looking at Daniels weaknesses while Daniel went away and worked on them lol. KG is right about a lot of things. Lol AJ was pulling the same face as Fury at one point 😂
Lennox got sparked by Mcall, lost his WBC belt an didn't immediately rematch him. He left Bruno to go take care of Oliver. When he eventually rematches Mcall, dude had a mental breakdown dwn in the ring crying an quit. Lennox never really beat Mcall.
Tbf, he was getting hit clean and lasted longer than he should have. If he can't fix his defence, then he shouldn't box anymore. AJ usually has better defence than what he showed in the dubois fight. Whatever he was doing was horrible
Everyone cussin the roll the dice advice, it almost turned the fight in his favour. Prior to that, he'd had ZERO success. Had he successfully followed up an dropped Dubois, rather than throw the ill advised uppercut, everyone is call Ben a genius.
Kg wants AJ to retire from his passion and wants Man Utd manager to be sacked 😅 you need a break from this internet bruddah. It’s boxing and football it isn’t supposed to go to plan everytime.
KG talking utter shite (i do like KG) but he knows AJ & watched his fights & anyone that’s followed AJ knows he just didn’t show up he had a bad night at the office (that’s all) AJ will not walk from this rematch because he knows he’s levels above DDD in every way,no real boxer will retire on that performance, even rocked & not having his legs underneath him he still managed to rock DDD and had him for the finish but just got desperate because he didn’t have his legs & new he needed to end it quickly,ANYONE with experience in anything can still have an off day ffs face is AJ KNOWS he’s so much better than he was on that night let’s stop trying to make out DDD is something special because he really ain’t,don’t forget the jab in the mouth of usyk he quit on & JJ & went 11 rounds with a 330LB out of shape 2 weeks notice,DDD ain’t all that and AJ knows & that’s why the rematch is the only fight he is willing to take next
4:35 thank you trav, I'm sorry KG thats a shameful take. Fair enough he should consider it. But how can you have two great perormances, one terrible performance and all of a sudden he ls old and body cant do it? Its AJ's worst performance with Dubois best it doesnt mean his body cant do it
@1neydj150 The version of AJ that fought Dubois loses to the "UFC guy" it was a shit performance against Dubois, and yes a good performance against ngannou, and punch bag? Your acting like ngannou didn't drop fury and look good against him
@@sparxxbiggs I’m not so sure about that, and I don’t know why you talking about fury at the same time talking about AJ anybody that got any sense knows fury didn’t even train for ufc man , 🤣🤣🤣🤣 the bottom line is the ufc guy stood in front of AJ waiting to get flatlined like it was a fix.. and I’m not saying it was but the guy didn’t move.
@1neydj150 1neydj150 fury is mentioned as its the only other metric to measure ngannous ability. The fact that you mentioned fix shows you're on some nonsense, 😂 or don't understand what being concussed does to you, because he certainly weren't standing still in round 1 and round 2 before the knockdowns
