Thanks for the comment. The car is still not mint, and maybe never will be. I just knew if I didnt get the rust sorted the car was on borrowed time. Cheers
This was a while back.... but I think ot was £1500... buy that included the welding (also some inside the boot on the same side), painting the rear bumper and aread which had been sprayed and a full mop of the car. So the welding itself was just part of this cost. Cheers
Water gets into the boot through the seam on the roof rail under the plastic trim,runs down the c pillar into the boot,check the inner sill's for rust,be surprised if haven't rotted away.
