DEMOLITION DIARIES: THE FINAL PUSH AND BEE SURPRISES!
This week has been a marathon, and we're feeling the weight of it. We're knee-deep in the final stages of our attic demolition, and who knew transforming an attic into a dreamy space could kick up so much chaos and dust?
The grand plan? To create a self-contained studio apartment featuring a kitchenette, a spacious entertaining/dining area, a bedroom with a walk-in closet, and a bathroom. Plus, a new yoga/art studio bathed in natural light, thanks to new Velux windows throughout.
To prepare, we’ve had to demolish all the existing walls, floors, and interior ceilings. And just when we thought we’d seen it all, surprise guests arrive-a hive of bees! We need to handle these unexpected visitors before continuing with the roof work. There will bee more on that next week.
