Today, we make it out to the CSX Mohawk Subdivision in Fonda, NY around Milepost/QC 186. My first time there and it did not disappoint. We get a lot of variety the whole day. The first part covers our time in Fonda. In this part of the day, We see CSX 911 (Spirit of our First Responders) attached to a 1853 "New York Central" Heritage Unit. We also see one of CSX's newest heritage units. The 1899 "Pere Marquette" which is an awesome looking locomotive. We also see a Union Pacific, plenty of CSX and Amtrak action. Each train had something unique about it whether it be the heritage units, foreign power, or just a symbol I've never seen before.
