Oh, I'm glad The Cosmic Gods of the Algorithm recommended your channel. I loved everything, especially the intro and outro with the cool adventure music. The scenario with the props is super cool a swell. And great analysis too, of course. You got a new subscribed, man... so keep with the good work.
I 100% agree with everything you said...and yet I still loved it (maybe a B+?). Why? Because as a huge NT fan boy, these crumbs are better than nothing!
Believe me, I understand... Sometimes crumbs are all we can get, and we're still glad to get them. But we'd really love a nice, thick slab of prime rib, too.
At this point, I'm halfway terrified that another movie will be saturated in politics, too. I hope I'm wrong, since rumors suggest that a third movie might actually happen.

The issue is not that the show is political. The issue is that the writing for each character is so incredibly and boring that her immigrant background is not compelling enough to enjoy it. I can’t stress enough how boring and dull these characters are written. Also your right about his unsatisfying solving the clues in this movie are.
I will say it is directly a result of the intense political climate that makes the writers of these television shows afraid to take chances in the script.
I agree that the writing is pretty dismal. Most of the characters are more like caricatures, and a lot of the dialogue feels like grandparents trying to use teenage slang that they don't understand. It's awkward. Even if they fixed that, though, I'd probably still have an issue with it being so political. If it's going to be such a focus, it's a better fit for shows like Law & Order, not (what is supposed to be) escapist entertainment, in my opinion.
