#badami was the capital of #chalukya dynasty from 6th to 12th century.
It is 120 kms from Vijaypur.
Take a route via Bagalkote upto KERUR. From KERUR, TAKE A DIVERSION TO BADAMI WHICH IS 24 Kms.
It is adviced to go to Badami caves early in the morning since, it is very hot in Badami round the year. it takes 2 to 4 hours, depending on interest at Badami caves. For sure, it is worth visiting.
Caves open at 6 am upto 6 pm.
#ticket is INR 25 per person.
Normal cell cameras are not charged.
