Roof Renovation
A few months ago, we discovered that our chimney had become a cozy home for a large hive of bees-definitely not ideal for our roof renovation plans nor for our builder! We brought in the bee man to safely relocate our buzzing guests, but when Plan A failed, we had to come up with an ingenious solution to save both the bees and our roofers!
After two years of waiting, failed attempts, and planning, we've finally kicked off the massive roof renovation. Initially, we hoped a simple cleaning would do the trick, but as we peeled back the layers, it became clear that a full restoration was necessary. Sure, a quick patch-up would have been easier (and a lot cheaper!), but we'd constantly be chasing leaks. As the custodians of this grand home, we believe it's our responsibility to leave this house in better condition than we found it. So, with deep breaths and lighter pockets, we're diving into the roof restoration project. Let the journey begin!
The Manatu is an absolute game-changer for our roof renovation! It's crucial for transporting all those canal tiles from the roof, making the whole process so much more efficient. Plus, it’s a lifesaver when it comes to lifting up supplies, like those hefty Velux windows. Without it, we'd be doing a lot more heavy lifting-and probably a lot more grumbling!
