I love how the story goes... it shows how love moves a mysterious way. This drama shows love is universal( love for friend, mother-daughter, people and love for someone special) i cried a lot for the last 2 episode and my heart melts when Fang Jianming called Haishi for the last time after he became the baixi of the son of emperor xu. I never gets bored while watching this and waiting for the next episode to come out. Hope for another good chinese drama. A round of applause for the actors and actresses who portrayed their characters well in this drama. Love the 3 couoles.. Fang Jianming and Fang Haishi... Emperor Xu and consort Shunrong.... Fang Zhouying and Zheliu. Hope they have another team up drama. Thanks for a good drama. God bless
I am pissed off right now. Why can't Haishi and Jianming have their happy ending. You people need to do a season 2!!! I need William and Yang Mi to have a happy ending. My tears are overflowing for them.

I can't believe I paid for VIP just to watch it and ended up with sad depressing ending. Too cruel 😢 the Emperor deserved happy ending He struggled all his life to find true comfort in loving wife and family, he couldn't even enjoy his best friend 🤦♀️😬 too sad 😢 inspite of the sad ending the performance was top notch, loved it
The emperor death was his own doing. It’s from his weakness as he found out the his brother was a fraud and still didn’t get to the bottom of things, because for Tilan sake. If he did he would’ve figured out that his brother death, exchange was well planned since the beginning with the help of Tilan country. They planted a long elaborate trap waiting for him to jump right in with both princess. Too many loop holes but to blind by love to see it. Forgiving you enemy it is like killing yourself, because they will bite turn around and bite you. FJM is just the victim of his poor choice.
Thanks for your comment. I actually only watched episode 1, I did not want to waste my time watching 47 hours more, only to bawl my eyes out because of sad ending. I must say, the Chinese make excellent movies and series, but why most are sad endings? At least, most of the Korean series have a happy ending for the main lead. Most anyway. But when it comes to historical dramas, the Chinese do excel in quality, even for the lower budget ones, they are still a visual feast, ☺️
@@madamebrunhilda5105 I really would encourage you to watch it, inspite of the Heart wrenching moments, the sweet love between Yang Mi and William chan is amazing. I've seen eternal love of dreams over 30 times Vengo Gao and Diliraba and it's STUNNING, also loved Ten miles peach blossom with Yang Mi and Mark Chao 💖 ♥ outstanding

I stopped watching at episode 46 and therefore its a happy ending for me. I am not surprised with the messey storyline after 46 why can't they just let everyone be happy 😛
I cried like a baby...I knew it was to good to be True...happy ending for Haishi and Jiamming....how is it possible that this Child is premature...that means Haishi and her Master were happy together for very short time

Where Haishi aka empress dowager live? YueZhou? Zhunian? no, right? They all living inside THE PALACE. The young emperor have to go to school and teach by his Grand Master aka FZ. In the scene, Haishi and young emperor had conversation where they always listen to Grand Master's teaching. Basically, can see each other everyday. No issue. Haishi and FZ can sneak out have their lovey dovey husband n wife's date...inside Palace.

@@meliaboss5384 Now he is in ill health as he took over the sickly lungs of the baby and that is not going to go away like a wound will. He will have poor lungs for years. But he is healthy enough to be the child's teacher/master 5 years later and is getting better in health.

I am agree with you. The producer should not change the original story to end with the same sad ending to me didn’t make any sense at all at least in the novel the baby was Hashi son, this end would be better. I did like the acting of the actors, cinematography and choreography but the only mistake of this drama was that the producers did not follow the novel, this my personal opinion.
Stupid ending. He repeatedly told her he’ll take care of her and won’t t make any decisions without consulting her. But he broke the promise to her. How about her life? She’s so young yet have to live as a widow, a lonely life. If I were haishi, I’ll choose not to see him or talk to him for the rest of my life.
The producers should fallows the original novel and not change the story for the tv version did not make sense at all when the ending will be worse than the novel, at least in the original story the baby was Hashi son and not the princess and Hashi has some feeling for the emperor and the baby wrist didn’t have to be cut to do bashi with the master, the end was stupid, this is personal opinion anyway I like the acting of the actors, cinematography and choreography was great.

The drama did show him towards the very end after the song. There is one part that shows a white feather that the little prince blew away and it landed on the palm of Fang Jian Ming.
Baixi is the term they use to describe the emperor and shifu bond. So whatever injuries that the emperor receives, it will reflect on shifu body and not the emperor. Shifu family line/blood has the power to form this bond with the royal blood. Hope this helps
