You can get a letter from your pastor (if you go to a Sabbath keeping church) which the employer has to honor. If you go to a Sunday church, which is ok, I don't know if you'd be able to get a letter from that pastor. He/she may not do it. God will honor your efforts

Resting on the 7th day from our weekly labors (according to the commandment - Exo 20:8-11 and Heb 4:1-11) shows the world we honor God by keeping holy the same day God rested from HIS weekly labors on creation week. Nothing else in God's moral law tells us who gave these 10 commandments.

The Ten Commandment’s were given in the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve were not Jews, and not for another 2,000 years. Jesus cannot forgive you if you willfully disobey His Commandments. The Bible says you’re no longer covered by Jesus blood sacrifice. Since you believe the Ten Commandment’s were nailed to the Cross and for Jews only. Matthew 5: 17-20 with emphasis on verse nine. Which says, Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least Commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called least in the kingdom of Heaven. Meaning you won’t be there. Whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven. They will be in Heaven because they were faithful. Blessed are they that DO His Commandment’s, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into City. Revelation 22:14 And hereby we do know that we know Him, if we keep His Commandment’s He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth NOT His Commandment’s, is a LIAR, and the truth is NOT in him. The laws contained in ordinances (which were nailed to the cross) included sacrificing animals for the forgiveness of sins. Christians do not kill animals for sins. The Sabbath is the day of the week that's the old Covenant the ordinances changed when Jesus Christ died on the cross we keep the Commandments every day of the week just like we rest in Jesus every day because Sabbath in Hebrew means rest. 2nd Colossians 2:14 through 16 clearly State don't make a religion out of the food you eat or drink or of the Sabbath days as it's not a day of the week it was for the Israelites but the ordinances have changed read Romans 8 were saved by God's grace not our works. Look up the word Sabbath in Hebrew it means rest and then check out Hebrews chapter 4 the whole chapters about resting in Jesus. I was liberated from keeping a day of the week 20 years ago when I was reading the Bible with the Shepherd's Chapel RU-vid channel they read chapter by chapter and verse by verse as the Sabbath is every day God bless you

​@@KeyofDavid5778 Obviously you don't know the Bible very well, otherwise you would know that in this context the Apostle Paul is referring to the solemn ceremonial annual Sabbath holidays (eating/drinking) and not the seventh day, the day of God. God gave man six days of work, but his holy seventh day, which he blessed, he gave to man for special communion with God, that is, for physical and spiritual refreshment.

The scriptures are in harmony, All scriptures are given by the holy spirit, the holy spirit dose not lead into confusion, He will not tell u something true in one scripture and then go to another scripture and tell u something different, the spirit cannot lie. God is truth, and there's no unrighteousness in him, if we studied the scriptures with the right interpretation we will not b confused on any truth of God. God is a spirit and those who worship him " must" worship him 🙏 in spirit and " in Truth" Do u know the four steps to be saved / to salvation? We must studied the scriptures "not carelessly because our eternal life depends on it. That's why Jesus said u shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free, but free from what? Free from error/ free from sin. Read leviticus chapter 23 all of it, then go back and read colossians chapter 2 verse 14 to 16 and 17. All the prophets are in harmony with each other, one scripture must not be use to destroy another scripture If you cannot harmonized the scriptures, it is not the scriptures fault or the prophets fault, for no scripture is of any Private interpretation, Ask the holy spirit to lead u into all this beautiful truth, begin with fervent sincere prayer, your eyes will be open to graps 👊 the truth.

We are COMMANDED actually to "labor" to enter into that rest (verse 11) else we will fall into unbelief. From the Greek "spoudazō" - "to exert one's self, endeavour, give diligence" , "to hasten, make haste". It is in fact the ONLY direct command in the NT to keep the seventh day Sabbath. All other references are showing people's examples when the Sabbath day of rest is mentioned. This is also why so many want to claim it means "resting in Jesus" everyday while the text itself shows it IS talking about a specific day. I just point them to verses 4,7,8&10 and also ask what would the world's economy be like if every Christian refused to work every day because they were "resting in Jesus". Sometimes (with verse 8) I ask where did Jesus ever mention another day of rest? He didn't so how does this verse say He gave any rest if He never mentioned another day? Verse 8 is actually a question....

they claim it's only ceremonial and thus was fulfilled at the cross and Jesus is now our Sabbath. They usually argue that the day in Genesis 2 is not a literal day, it's an indefinite period of time.

If I am not mistaken, those scriptures refer to the holy feasts and festival days that the Israelites held under the Mosaic Law. Those days were "shadows", or illustrations, of the work that Jesus would do here on earth at his first coming. Those festivals, annual sabbaths, and other mosaic laws were fulfilled by the coming of Jesus, and they are separate from the Ten Commandments. However, some of the Jews still tried to enforce those feasts and ceremonial laws even after Jesus rose again. I believe Paul was saying in those texts that it is no longer necessary to keep those specific laws, although Paul also tried to respect their beliefs as much as possible so that he could reach them with the truth, hence why he said that if someone wants to honor a certain day, they still can. I believe Pastor Doug has other sermons about these feasts and festivals that would explain it better than I can.

There's a difference between laws and ordinances read second Colossians 2:14 through 16 the ordinances of The Seventh-Day Sabbath was changed as Sabbath in Hebrew means rest we rest in Jesus every day not one day a week Sabbath isn't a day of the week. Colossians 2:16 clearly states do not make a religion out of the food you eat or drink or of the Sabbath days Hebrews chapter 4 clearly states that Sabbath means rest we don't rest in Jesus one day a week we rest in Jesus every day a week just like we keep all the Commandments every day of the week.

Come sunset they would then rest on the weekly Sabbath Night 3 - Friday night Nissan 18 the first half (from even to even shall you celebrate the Sabbath) of the 7th day Sabbath Day 3 - Saturday day and still Nissan 18 Sunday the 1st day of the week Nissan 19 Jesus resurrected 3 days and 3 nights Just as Jesus said

He didnt say He would be dead 3 days and night, He said He would be "in the heart of the earth" meaning He would totally be in the grips of this fallen earth and its ruler satan .... So the 3 days/night started in the garden when he sweat blood... He was as good as dead the pain He was feeling, He was in the heart of the earth/grips of satan for 3 days/night ... Out of which He was in the death processs/cross/grave 2 nights and days. Scripture tells us He died Friday, its says it was preparation day and that's Friday Luke 23:54.... He rested from His saving work in the tomb on Sabbath and rose to work again on Sunday.

@@luosu432 There is no biblical proof "the heart of the earth" (or the 3 days and nights) started in the Garden of Gethsemane. That's a human misinterpretation. In Matt 12:40 the Greek word for "heart" is "kardia" meaning "of the middle or central or inmost part of anything, even though inanimate". The word for "earth" is "gē" which also translates as "ground". "The middle/central/inmost part of the ground". Sealed in a tomb would qualify. Time spent in Gethsemane and on the cross would not. Even if you are correct, there is no way you can fit 3 full days and 3 full nights on a Friday crucifixion. Jesus was arrested at night after the Passover meal. This would be the first 12 hours of the day. He was crucified that same day during the daylight hours. Remember back then a new day started at sunset not midnight. Nissan the 15th began on what we call Tuesday night at sunset in 31AD. Jesus celebrated the Passover with His disciples, said a few words to them, went to Gethsemane, was arrested and illegally tried by the priests all that same night. Come morning (still Nissan 15) He was taken to Pilate... Trace the calendar back to 31AD and see for yourself. Look up "High Sabbath" while you're at it (John 19:31). It was the term used for the sabbath day of rest after the Passover and in no way means the weekly 7th-day Sabbath. Nissan 16 fell on a Thursday in 31AD.

They are judged as negative only when we humans experience them and suffer some impact from them. An avalanche is nothing more than an internal fault or crack in the mountain rock being acted on by gravity. Sin did not cause it, or anything else. Avalanches occur regularly and we only think about them if we happened to place a human settlement at the base of that mountain. Jesus was resurrected in the flesh. He even ate food after His resurrection. Luke 24:36-43 Paul says our bodies will be changed/fashioned "like unto his glorious body" Phil 3:21 Job knew he would be resurrected "in the flesh" Job 19:26 As for II Cor 5:6 and 8; Paul gives another example (Col 2:5). Not physically there but in mind and heart (spirit) with them. Also He means (verse 6) "at home" or "comfortable" in the body. He's talking about the fleshly lusts of the body. Such things separate us from God. And this puts I Cor 15:50-56 in a whole new light for you doesn't it? Reading the texts the way you want to believe them goes against everything the bible says about the dead: They sleep a perpetual sleep and do not awake The dead cannot praise God Their breath goeth forth. They return to the dust. In that very day their thoughts perish. When Adam was created he was not GIVEN a living soul. He BECAME a living soul. In Gen 2:7 the Hebrew is "ḥay nep̄eš", "a living being". It is the same two words in Gen 1:21, 24 and 2:19 translated as "living creature". Same for the Greek in 1 Cor 15:45 and Rev 16:3 "zaō psychē", "living being". The word "spirit" (as it relates to both man and beast) also means air/wind/breath in both Hebrew AND Greek. Job said the Spirit of God was in his nostrils. Moses said the Lord God breathed into Adam's nostrils the breath of life. Jesus used the same word "pneuma" on the cross "into thy hands I commend my spirit". Air/wind/breath Luke 23:46. He "gave up the ghost" - "ekpneō" - "to breathe out, breathe out one's life, breathe one's last [breath], expire". You should really do more study on the subject.

Somebody told me this man is worth 10 million how can you be worth 10 million and the Bible states that the rich. In Jesus said unto his disciples verily I say unto you that a rich man hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven and I say unto you it's easier for a camel to go through the eye of the needle then for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God Matthew 1923:26. I'm not judging these are not my words these are Jesus Christ words 1st Timothy 6:17 and 18. @@KeyofDavid5778 we cannot judge someone by how much money they have. His family was rich since he was a child. Joseph, Abraham, Lot, David, Solomon were wealthy! There’s nothing wrong with being rich. God blessed these men with riches for a reason. They were humble about it. Don’t worry about someone’s bank account. That’s between them and God.

I doubt that bothers him. They need to catch the right angles and they must stand in the right spots there’s tons of cameras and they need to face a public and cameras at the same time. They cannot be too close to each other.
